We sat down and the waitress asked what we wanted. We didn't respond quickly enough and she went away. She came back and we almost lost her again, but my husband said, "No, no, stay." I asked for a recommendation for shrimp and she looked at me like I'd asked her to eat a bug. There was nothing but a fork to eat with, so I stirred my tea with a fork and cut up the hard chicken with a fork. My husband's ribs were not good, he ate just a few. My chicken was mostly dark meat and greasy. I told the waitress when she came with the check (we never saw her from the ordering taking to the check) that the ribs were not good. She ignored me. There was one good thing: the sticky rice.

Have eaten there twice and had all of the above both times. The strip this place is in is pretty divey, but we will keep going back for the delicious food, great price, ample servings and very prompt service.

My biggest problem with this restaurant is the fact that I have gained 100 pounds since I started eating their food. They deliver to the front door with a smile and are always quick. Food is always hot, as in warm, they also have hot as in Tobasco. They try hard to make whatever you want. They are genuine ethnic -- imagine, Gefilte Fish Foo Young!!

I used to live in Buckhead about 7 or 8 years ago and frequented China Cooks on a regular basis. The food is still just as excellent as ever. The neighborhood is awful, but the food is well worth the effort of getting there. I now live over 40 miles away and still stop by for take out whenever I am even remotely near by.

Zagat has it right! By far the best (and most original) Chinese restaurant in the metro area. It does not look like much on the inside (and it's located in a pretty crappy shopping center) but the food is to die for!
