Choi Kwang Do Canton

I joined the Canton Choi Kwang Do school with my son a few months ago. The improvements that we've seen in my son are incredible. He loves going to class and I do as well. The instructors create a warm, caring environment that pushes each student to strive to achieve. Great school!!!

Our five year old daughter entered the program a little over a month ago and already she is demonstrating more self control and her manners are noticeably improved. She is starting Kindergarten off on the right foot and loves going to Choi Kwang Do.

Ive been Choi Kwang Do for over six years now. With the help of Mr.Cruzado I have obtained the goal of being a second degree black belt as well as an disciplined instructor. Choi Kwang Do is a way of life for me now. Teaching our students every day brings the greatest amount of joy to me while seeing a smile on their faces. Through my experience i have seen many positive changes in kids as well as adults. Teaching and learning our principle "Pil Suhng" to always do our best and never give up. Both of my boys started at CKD when they were 3 years old and have had the most wonderful experience! (They are 7 and 5 now). Mr. Cruzado and his team of instructors really help to instill confidence and accountability in all of the kids they work with. They learn not only Martial Art moves, but they also learn principles that they can use in everyday life, which, as parents, we can truly appreciate. Mr. Cruzado also makes it fun outside of CKD, by organizing events, whether it is to the movies, amusement parks, or Kids Fun Nights (to give us parents a break!). Mr. Cruzado, to us, is not just an instructor, but a member of our family! Don't hesitate in signing your children up! You'll be so glad you did.

Fantastic Martial Art with great instructors and a friendly atmosphere. I joined back in March of 2005 at the age of 11, and honestly I wouldn't be the same guy had I never joined Choi Kwang Do. I started as an overweight and out of shape child and now, through years of training I have achieved much better health and personal fitness. This martial art has taught me not only practical and powerful self-defense techniques, but important life skills such as the importance of politeness and respect, as well as leadership qualities I otherwise would never have gained. Anyone can train, be they child or adult. A great martial art school all around.
