This is my favorite place to eat in Atlanta, hands down. I always order the crablegs, crab cakes, surf and turf (fried lobster and filet mignon). The service is the best around. The waiters are very knowledgable and they have perfect timing! Always there when you need them without hovering over you to the point where it is down right annoying. Of course it is quite pricy to dine here, but it is worth it. My fiance takes me here on special occasions..valentine's day, birthdays, etc...If I had the money though I would be here every week! Stay away from the lobster bisque...it may suit some people's tastes...but out of the dozens of times I have been here, that is the only thing I have ever disliked. It is orange and think and kind of a puree. I am used to a rich, thick white soup with lobster meat inside. I am sure Chops serves up the ''authentic'' lobster bisque but I don't like it. You will enjoy yourself! I reccomend reservations if you are going on a Friday or Saturday night after 7pm just to be on the safe side. They also have an extensive drink and bar menu! You will love this place! I guarantee it!

My wife and I went her a month a go and were extrememly impressed with the service and food. We both ordered the New York strip- the steak melted in your mouth. The sides were delicious as well- We will definately be coming back in the near future!

The boyfriend and I went to Chops during Buckhead Restaurant Week and ordered off their 3 course menu. The NY strip was deliciously perfect but the fingerling potatoes weren't cooked all the way. As expected, service was absolutely superb. Overall, the experience was a most enjoyable one. I would definitely recommend you to check it out during their next event if you're on a budget.

After all these years and after all of the other steak houses that have come on to the Atlanta scene, Chops is still one of my favorites (topped only by Bone's). I have never had a better steak (any cut) in Atlanta (only a couple in NYC and one in LV top it). Fantastic wine list, unbeatable service, and a chic steak house atmosphere add to the experience. I think the steaks at Chops and Bones are right there with each other but I think the atmosphere in Bones tips the scale for me.

We went on a Friday night so it was quite busy but the staff was still very attentive. Our steaks were cooked perfectly. Although my husbands lamb chops were cooked well under what he requested, the kitchen was quick to respond. The lobster bisque here is my favorite in the city...not too spicy, perfect amount of cream, & delicious!!Highly recommend for a special evening out, a birthday/anniversary celebration, or just for the heck of it! Bon appetit!

There was no southern hospitality that I'm used to. I was unimpressed with this place. They didn't do anything wrong but it was just bland. The food was just barely par for the course.

You can always expect great service at Chops. The night will be expensive, but the steaks are wonderful, lobsters are cooked perfectly and sides are delicious.
