So good, and the value is awesome. The amount of food that you get for your money can't be beat. Love!

A friend told me about Chow Baby a while back, and just had the opportunity to go. My husband and I took my sister and brother-in-law who were visting from out of town. We all had a fantastic time. It's a traditional Mongolian BBQ, but with an upscale twist. The atmosphere is open and hip. Seemed to have a great vibe, but wasn't loud (especially for a Saturday evening). Seems like it would be a great date place if you're single. Very reasonably priced for an evening out.

The concept of the restaurant sounds great but when they brought back my cooked food with a hair it it, I haven't been back since. The server didn't seem to concerned about it and instead of comping the meal offered me more food. It's already all you can eat, I was grossed out at that point for more food.

I really enjoyed eating at Chow Baby. I liked being able to create your own meal. It was great to be able to go through the buffet several times. The price was very good for the amount of food you got. I would definately go back.

There is something about Chow Baby that has me hooked. You never have to have the same thing twice b/c you make your own creations. The staff is great and very attentive. You can mix and match your hearts desire and then go back for more.

I really like the Real Chow Baby. I wish the resturant was bigger or they had a second location b/c I love the concept but not the crowd. I love chicken and rice/noodles so this place is great for me, the buffet factor works for me..not because I can eat all I want but b/c I can try all the combinations I want. However I always avoid this place on the weekends. When its crowded its VERY loud, you can not hold a conversation if you are with a party. Mon-Thurs are the best days to go. I wish they had a Saturday lunch. Great deal for a buffet, if you can make it back in line to get another dish.

however nothing special. The atmosphere is very loud and you can hardly hear yourself think much less have conversation over the music being blasted overhead. The concept is great if you know what you're doing. If you have no idea what flavors to combine, you are headed for a distastrous creation.

After hearing good things about this place, we decided to take a coworker there to celebrate her birthday. I'd love to be able to rate the food, however we weren't able to get past the extremely poor service and attitudes of both the waitstaff and the manager. I've got to admit it was our fault... we had the nerve to arrive with a party of five and well, apparently if the number in your party doesn't match the seats at each table, the only way they can accomodate you is to pull a chair up. The first option: put one in the busy aisle; their second option was to cram five people at a table with barely enough room for four. I'm not sure if they turned away everyone else or perhaps forced people to dine with folks they didn't know, because when the manager refused to push two tables together to accomodate our group, we left... to sarcastic remarks from the door jockey. No need for confrontation and certainly no need to bash what's probably good food and a great concept. Maybe they're doing so well that they can afford to turn away business by not seating a party of five at a table for six. But I must say that as that area grows and the idea of buffet stir fry is less novel, such poor service may this joint's undoing. I know one thing for sure, here, at my company of 4,000+, I won't be recommending Chow Baby.

I recommend this place for anyone who has special request in their food. The price is good if you eat lots! :) I don't know why they don't open lunch during the weekends. The service was so-so. Our waitress just kept coming for every 2 min, it was a bit annoying. The waiting line for the grill can be long, but it depends on the date and time. If you are a vegan or allergic to certain food, this is a place for you.

If you like the food give yourself most of the credit -- you basically create your own unique dish! An interactive dining experience that's best done with a group of friends (and not when you are starving - you will usually wait awhile to get a table and then to stand in a long line to go through the food line up!) Interesting concept and can be fun. Huge selection of foods. Pay one price and go back for 2nd's, 3rd's... Smokey from the grill, so don't dress up! Very noisy during peek times (which has been all three times I've been including Saturday night, mid-weeknight and for lunch during the week). If you're in a hurry, get there at or before opening and jump on line... Service was just ok (in fact my party was asked to leave on one occasion because they wanted our table for incoming guests! the manager recovered by offering free meal coupons for our party of 3 but it still left a bad taste... I used mine for my 3rd visit and haven't returned...) If you don't mind making it yourself, not bad. Very reasonably priced meals. Decent mixed drinks. No take outs on leftovers although they will do to go orders. They may be a little too full of themselves for my taste...

I loved it. I love the fact that you can make your own meal and they bring it as soon as it is done. I LOVE the fact that the service is excellent. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

Being still new to Atlanta a friend took me to Chow Baby on a Thursday night. I was a bit skeptical but was really surprised. Everything was perfect. Even with the music a little louder than I like, we had a great time. Ended up sitting there for almost three hours just taking our time and talking. The food was super and hot and our server made sure our glasses stayed full. If you're new to the area or have just never tried it, Chow Baby is definitely the place to go. I intend to become a regular.
