My only son attended Christ the King Preschool from the time he was 18 months old to 4 years old. As my only child, I was very selective when determining which school he'd be attending. My husband and I visited every day care and day school in the area, and bar none, Christ the King was the best choice for us. The teachers are wonderful, nurturing people who've been there for a long time. I felt very comfortable leaving my child at the school knowing that he'd be well cared for. The school is a warm and safe place. As to the negative reviewer, I believe compassion for the less fortunate is a fundamental part of the Christian faith. I base my opinions on what I can see with my two eyes and hear with my two ears not on "apparently"s or hearsay. I can attest that my child was well cared for, nurtured, and loved while he attended Christ the King. He was also taught to love unconditionally and help those in need.
I have been a member of Christ the King for 8 years and my children have attended the preschool from the time they were 2 until they went to Kindergarten. As a church member I have seen the ups and downs in this congregation over the last 8 years. One of the highlights has been the outreach of this congregation and willingness to be the hands and feet of Christ right in our community. I continue to come to this Place of Grace and see the love of Christ demonstrated in actions and words to all who need Him, even if they are different than me. There are great things going on at this church and possibly some may have to get outside of their comfort zone, but never are we asked to put our children in danger. I invite anyone to come and see what grace really looks like in action.
