My brakes started to grind indicating that the brake pads were wearing thin. I took my car to a different mechanic. They called up with a whole list of things that were wrong and said that inferior parts had been used on my last brake job and asked who did the work. Actually, the mechanic looked at my brakes, then looked at the owner and said "did her husband do this?" indicating that it looked like a botched DIY job. Well, my brakes had been repaired by Christian Brothers just barely a year before. So this other guy repaired my brakes, new pads, machined the roter, replaced the cheap parts Christian Brothers had put in and assured me they would last for three years or 36,000 miles. He said that Christian Brothers has been sold and the new owner owns several locations and isn't around all the time to supervise mechanics and the mechanics rotate between shops so you don't even see the same person twice. I had been to Christian Brothers under the original owners and it was fine. I've used this other shop before and I think I'll stick with them.

I have used this Christian Bros for auto repairs for many years and loved the service and honesty I received from Jack, the former owner, and Mark, the former service manager. However, I recently discovered that Jack sold the business to a new owner. I took my car in for an oil change and "trip check" this week, and the new service manager called and ran down a long list of expensive repairs (over $800) he said I needed. I was suspicious, so I took the car to another mechanic who I trust. He said one problem really wasn't a problem at all and fixed the other one for $75. Wow, this is the kind of thing I expect from Jiffy Lube! If you are a long-time customer here -- or a new customer, for that matter -- be very careful. The name "Christian" Brothers doesn't seem to translate to the new owner at this location.

I am a customer of 5 years. Have used them for regular maintenance - , to bigger problems like fuel injection related. Like anything today, one needs to do their research on what your car's problem is, and the related parts cost. All repair places will charge more than what you can find both on-line and at a store, and CB is no exception. As one of the CB service managers said, they need to do this to stay in business and keep up to date with car technology. Try to bargain down the price, or ask if they will allow you to buy the part. On occasions I was able to request this from the old owner Jack. I say old owner as I just found out today that there is new owner Brian. I rate CB at Johns Creek a 3. Not outstanding, but there are worse shops out there. Would use for now.

Had them give me an estimate on front differential repair job. They estimated $2100.00 but I shopped around and found a nearby 4X4 facility that did the work for about 1/3 the cost of their estimate. Recommendation-shop around-there are better, lower priced options available to you.

My 80 yr old mother began using this Christian Bros. in 2003 when we moved to GA & was always treated with honesty & integrity. When she died in 2006, I began using their services for my 2006 Nissan Pathfinder. I cannot recommend their services higher - you will not find a better owner than Jack, nor a better "right hand" than Mark. The service they provide is stellar.

My car was overheating in traffic and I stopped at a gas station to find a repair shop. I was told Christian Brother Automotive on Jones Bridge Road was the place to go for a friendly and trustworthy shop. I walked into the building and explained to Mark at the service desk what was happening to my car. Mark walked out to my car and found that my radiator hose has blown off my radiator. Mark replaced my hose clamp and refilled it with coolant at no charge. What great service at 5PM on a Friday!!! I would recommend this shop to anyone! Thanks again Christian Brothers! Rebecca

We took our car there because our car was running hot, we were told that the radiator needed to be replaced and we did for the amt.of appx. $600 new. After 18mths. Same problem, they claim they had to talk to the radiator Manf. to get another radiator for additional $100 plus charged to us, doing us a favor, paid that. Couple mths. later car pad brake sensor was making noise, took to CB they said they did not hear anything but they did not check brakes. Brought car home now in a couple days we noticed fluid leaking, took car back to CB they said that routers and brakes needed to be replaced, plus heads and coils needed to be replaced $758 we paid it. take car home, next day car will not start. Told us we had to tow car to them at our expense. Was told we cannot fix your car for free. Mind you they performed a tune up less than a year ago. Made the comment your car has 100k miles and its been good to you. The car is a 2001 we do not drive it that much just up the street and local errands. The car has not been good to us since. I will be getting an attorney, what has happened to the American business today. CB did not even care I got your money sucker, is how I feel.

My brother went in here about a year ago for a noise in the rear of his SUV. They told hime he had to replace a driveshaft & planetary gears etc, repair total was appx 1100.00 He took to second opinion....it turned out to be a plastice spare tire guard rubbing against the driveshaft!!!!!! Total cost to repair 27.00...You do the math! Now...how can you miss that????

I had my car towed into the shop based upon friends recommendation. a few hours later we received a call from there service manager not to discuss repair options but to ask if I would like to sell the car. I thought this was strange, He went into how my motor would need to be replaced and how expensive it would be and how he would like to purchase the car, for far less than current value. He even told me not to call the shop but to call him on his private number... Now at this point a red flag went up. I called and made arrangements to get my car out of there. When I went to check on my car before it was removed I went and asked the mechanics what they thought about my car, Only to be told neither of them had even looked at it.... Now since i did not think this was the norm for a repair shop. I tried for a week to call and speak to the owner to no avail, I was told repeatedly by the service manager that the owner was unavailable to speak to me, excuses ranged from he is in a meeting to he was gone for the day to he just left for lunch... Well I ended up taking my car to another local facility and had it repaired not with a new engine but with a new oil pan.... I would NEVER recommend this place based on this experience, all i can say is I wonder how many times people actually fell for it?

I was stranded, needed a transmission. NOTHING was done when they said it would be from diagnostics, to phone calls,to suppliers, to follow up. The labor seemed high but I'm stranded. Then they charged labor for work they did not do. Then tried to keep my expensive aftermarket trans. pan. Seems a shame use "CHRITIAN" as a front for the business. This is not how christians treat people. Find someone else!

A family member took our Chevy to America's Service Station in Alpharetta for an oil change and they told her that she needed a new belt and an expensive axel service due to leaky seals. Total: $600. I then took the car to Christian Brothers, who I trust and have used on several occasions. They placed the car on the rack and thoroughly looked at both issues without finding any leak or a bad belt. In addtion, they did not charge me for the time to evaluate the "problems". I appreicate these guys as being reputable and honest, unlike competitors down the street.

I had a noise that I wasn't sure what it was and normally I would take my Chevrolet to the Chevy dealer, even though I don't trust them as far as I can throw em. I ALWAYS spend more than I bargained for. From a recommendation, I took my vehicle to Christian Bros. The problem was found quickly and fixed with no issues. The owner is friendly and responsive. The manager was just as friendly and informative. The price of the fix was very reasonable. It was cheaper than I anticipated. And the work is quality. I will definitely be taking my vehicles there in the future. Isn't that the best recommendation one can make?

I have wrestled with myself on where service my vehicles now that they are out of warranty. I have found the place! Jack the owner was very friendly, got my truck in quickly, made some recommendations for preventative maintenance in a consultative approach. While waiting on my car, Jack had the same approach to other customers. No pushy sales or unnecessary repairs here! Look no further than Christian Brothers, Amen!

I thought I had a major problem. It turns out it was small, a quick fix and there was no charge! How refreshing. I'll be back for sure. They had me out in 15 minutes. Outstanding customer service and excellent facilities. Thank you! Bruce Haines Woodstock, GA
