I was looking to buy a top of the line desktop computer. I did my homework, I knew what I needed in a computer, and found the one. I go into the store, and they don't have any in stock. Instead he persistantly tries to sell me another model. I knew what I wanted when I walked in. I stuck to my guns. He looked it up online and told me he didn't know when they'd have anymore in stock-in store. Fair enough, I'd like to buy one and have it picked up in store. Again, I was told he couldn't do that. Then turns around and informs me I (the customer) can order one online and have it sent to my house. I then went to the customer service desk where I waited a half hour (one customer ahead of me) only to be told I can't do in store pick up. Oh, but you can. CircuitCity.com says I can do in store pick up. Only to be told again, No. I ask, so what's the difference between me ordering one online and you the store ordering one? Little to my satisfaction, she attempts to come up with some sort of explanation for which they don't have. Why should I the customer have to have it delivered to my house when they guarantee in store pick up. I asked to see the manager, he finally arrived, I took my wallet out, waived over $2,000.00 dollars in cash in front of him and let him know why I was walking out empty handed, with intentions never to shop there again. I've had to many run-in's with CC...

Recently purchased a computer system with all the bells and whistles and then some and discovered that my current computer just needed Ram. Once I install Ram into the old computer it worked fine so I tried to return the UN_OPENED items and the guy was extreamly nasty because I was beyond the 14 days to return. I thought it was 30 days which I was within that time frame, but I failed to read the back of the receipt that the he rudely pointed out to me and put into my face so it was my fault. It was like so what get out of my face kind of service. I clearly don't need the system now and it's still sitting in the boxes they came in. Hate to say it but it seems like these young kids who work in these stores are so rude and really don't know what they are selling or talking about. Believe it or not I've had issue with this same salesperson before but won't happen again because I refuse to shop at this location again.

I bought a computer, the sales lady helped me pick it out. I asked for a hookup that would work with my printer. She insured that this is the one. I got it home and it did not have the printer port I needed. I called the computer tech guy at Circuit City said you couldnt buy one with this style any longer. So I looked at Office Depot they had it so I bought it. 2hrs later when I returned the computer at Circuit City (never even pluged in or turned on) they charged me a 20% retocking fee. I have bought thousands of dollars worth of electronics from them and they would not help me out at all. Very poor service and business ethics, when the computer they sold me was the wrong one. (((((((((((((((Very unhappy and will NEVER shop there again)))))))))))))))) Jaime Bengston
