At CWLCC, we are building skills and enriching lives through literacy in the East Baton Rouge Parish. We provide free one-on-one tutoring for teenagers and adults who have the desire to improve their reading and writing skills. In addition, we offer practical training and workshops for parents and families to help children of all ages develop good reading skills. We also collaborate with various schools, local human service organizations and the business community to meet the literacy needs of families in the East Baton Rouge Parish. At CWLCC, we desire to provide educational and training programs and support services to meet adult education, training and retraining needs. We will continuously strive to provide adult basic education, non-degree adult occupational training in areas of labor market need; and life management instruction (i.e. employability skills, parenting, health and nutrition).
