So large it has many different flight times offered/all airlines. Not very helpful in directing you to gates, check-in, etc. Great places to eat inside. Workers need help with consumer relationships!

I love the Atlanta airport and what it represents for the city, but I have to say that many of the security staff and those working customs need managerial support to help them deal more appropriately with travellers.

i can't complain...too much. i appreciate that the marta goes right into the airport saving money on parking. i don't like how the line to the gate goes right through the food court yard. too many people too much confusion.

Overall, they do things pretty well at Hartsfield. The layout is easy to navigate, the trams make it functional and quick to get from various terminals. Considering the sheer size of the facility, it's amazing that they can do that. The people are generally helpful. Good first exposure to Atlanta for visitors, in most cases. I'm looking forward to the improvements as the expansion and renovation work continues.

this airport has a lot of pluses. it is easy to get around. sometimes lines at security can get long so leave early. lots of places to eat and shop while you are waiting on your flight.

For such a huge airport that has so many travelers they need to have a "cell phone lane". I have been at various large airports that have lanes you can pull into and wait for arriving passengers. The passenger calls you on your cell phone and you pull up.

This is a huge airport but is very easy to get around. Unlike other large airports if you fly into one terminal but will be flying out of another terminal you don't have to go through security again. They have a great shuttle system but sure you know where you're going before you get on. It moves fast!

Had good and bad experiences but overall, a quality hub. The train is pretty quick and gets you around the airport pretty quickly. If your a smoker, you will like the smoking rooms.

Hartsfield has certainly gone through growing pains through the years as its' evolved into a mecca for world transport. Security is probably the worst part of the experience. Long snaking lines eventually lead you into a cattle call checkpoint. The train service to your gate is always good and on an arrival into Atlanta your baggage is usually on the turnstile by the time you get from your gate to baggage claim. The main problems are: the airport definitely needs some facelifts and few people who work here ever seem to smile.
