My Pup's Fave Place
Love this place! Unfortunately they don't have the dog food I need, but they do have everything else. Everyone who works here is super friendly and genuine which is always nice. My favorite place to bathe my pup! You have to do it yourself, and it costs around $18 but not having to clean up my apartment bathroom after a dog shower? Well worth it. They've got a huge selection of toys, treats, food and accessories. I'm a big fan!

Best pet store in Atlanta..........MUST VISIT!!
Fun and friendly neighborhood store with a fabulous selection of foods and accessories!! From the second you walk in the door, you're greeted by a wonderful friendly staff who welcomes people AND their dogs!! A great place to bring the dog shopping!! Knowledgeable staff will give you personalized suggestions for your particular breed of dog. And it's always a pleasure to be greeted by the sweet rescue dog, Big Daddy, rescued by the owners. These people care about you and your dog!! And what a delightful place to shop!!

To Pricey
I heard some really good things about CDM before finally trying them out. I have been very into the holistic and nutrional side of things for more than half my life and feed my animals the same way I feed myself. Everything is nutrition based. I am sad to say that although my customer experience inside the store was pleasent enough, I did feel that the majority of the staff the few times I've been in there are lacking in proper food education and nutrition for animals. Not to mention how very over priced everything is!!! I know that most smaller chains like this may be on the higher end price wise, but i can get food for my dog and cat at Highland Pet Supply for much cheaper even though it is out of my way to go there. I think CDM just needs to research their products more and educate their staff better. Just because it's Buckhead doesn't mean you have to charge an arm and a leg! I do also agree about the staff hovering when trying to shop. Good customer service is always appreciated but if I need help I will merely come and ask for it. I wish my experience with them had been a little more positive but I'd rather spend the gas to go to the Highlands.

Not My Favorite Atlanta Pet Store
Pros: Clean, big store. Nice selection of quality products.
Cons: Some staff hovers over you while you are trying to shop. How many times do I have to enter and hear "Have you been here before?" Prices seem higher than the competition on some items. Not entirely confident in some of the advice I received after doing my own research.
On a side note, I think it's very important to supplement any advice with a good dose of online research.

Big disappointment
I use to love this place. The owners were always there and treated customers like no where else in Atlanta. Lately when I go in they are not to be found and the staff there is clueless. I even heard a staff person lie to a customer and tell them that they are the only store in Atlanta that carried a certain brand food. Which was definetly far from th truth. I put up with there high prices because I liked the owners and brought my dog to Camp Woof before they sold the place. But no more. I will buy my food somewhere else.
