I found this company looking five star reviews close to home, here on Kudzu. I called for prices and to confirm they're a legit local company and not one of the locksmith scams in the news. The girl on the phone said they're physically located at address is 105 E Main Street, Woodstock (No suite #). The service call is $29 (cheap) and removing a broken ignition key is $145-165 so I want to move forward and schedule but I'm not convinced they're local, as advertised. I ask the dispatcher about nearby landmarks but she ends up just saying that I'm "confusing" her. So I explain my concern. Meanwhile, I guess she's quickly pulled up an Internet search, as I have, because I ask about "IPPs" across the street just to be sure and she says, "Yah, the pastry place" (it's a pasteria) and names other nearby businesses (a question that previously "confused" her) and reiterates that she is really truly is sitting in their real actual physical office in downtown Woodstock. But I lose faith when she doesn't realize there's a gazebo/bandstand and fountain basically in her front yard and a unique bookshop in her same micro-tiny strip mall. That's when she says they're "actually" a "mobile company" and she's at a nearby "undisclosed dispatch location". I think maybe I'm just overly cautious & ask about a website I can look over, but there isn't one. Really? So we've got bogus location, no website, and untruthful dispatcher. Also, no uniforms & unmarked vehicles. Can't do it.
