So many improvements needed, 4/27/2008

This is supposed to be one of the two main libraries in the system. While it is large it needs a lot of improvements. The library is huge and the bathrooms are very isolated. The security... guards try their best but their is grafitti in many places. The library also seems to be a hang out for the homeless and therefore isn't a very clean place. They do have a good selection of books but you can always tell which books come from this location as opposed to say Sahara. They are beat up, older and just sad looking. The library will do but could be so much better.

A total education and entertainment package!, 8/13/2007

This library offers book clubs, children's storytimes, ESL (literacy) classes, computer classes, monthly exhibits, interlibrary loan, public computers, public readings, and of course a wide selection... of books, current DVDs, and popular music CDs. Staff are knowledgeable and courteous and are always eager to assist. If you need to use their public computers, call ahead for a reservation because this location is one of the busiest. They also offer Wi-Fi service at no charge. Their location is ideal, as it is minutes from the university and the airport, and only a few miles from the Strip.

Great Place and Great Staff

This library offers a wide array of literature and activities. It is a great library in which to hold special functions. If you're unable find what you're looking for here, it probably isn't available in the State of NV. The staff is very helpful, courteous, and informative. I'd recommend this library to my friends.

could be way better

This is one of the largest library that I have seen in the county but it still lacks valuable resources. One of the problems with this library is their catalog, it is too confusing. What makes the confusion worst is the downloading time, which just gets me frustrated. This county needs a library like the one in downtown L.A. Now that's a library! One more thing to the parents, this is a library not a after school day care or boys and girl club.

clark county library

I like this because they have a large variety of kids books and activities. It keeps my three year old busy for a couple of hours.

This library has everything for everyone.

Clark County Library has some of the nice people in Las Vegas working there. I love that there is something there for everyone. I feel that the library closes to early only on the weekends. Yes I will be using this library for my reading pleasures. Yes this library is an excellent value to the community. Yes I would refer my friends and family to this library.

Full Service

This is a full service library with helpful employees and wonderful programs. The building, itself, is gorgeous in true libray fashion, and it is always quiet. I especially like the study rooms. Unfortunately, the homeless also like the green surroundings and can often be found lounging outside diminishing the serene effect.

Best Public Library in LV

I think this is the best public library in Las Vegas because it's bigger than the others and it's got a wider selection. It's not the cleanest or mor...
