Worst Contractor - Ever., 4/13/2010

I hired Clean America Landscape (Daniel Pascoe) to remove a fallen tree from my property. His prices were reasonable and he seemed very professional on the phone. We scheduled the job and we agreed... he would cut the tree down and haul it away. When he arrived at my property he went to work. My wife had an emergency, so she had to leave the house. Despite her best judgement, she went ahead and paid him, leaving him to finish the job at my property. Upon my return, I was very frustrated and disappointed. He left numerous logs behind at the site (we agreed he would haul everything away). He and his crew threw logs down in my creek rather than haul them off. There was a large pile of branches he left behind. Rather than cut the base of the tree down flush with the ground, he left a stump about 3 ft tall. He drove over my septic tank (even though I put flags up marking where NOT to drive on my yard). All in all, terrible service and one of the worst experiences possible. I have called him three times and emailed him three times asking for him to return and finish the job as we agreed, and he will not return my calls or emails. I have called him from phone numbers that he does not recognize via caller id and he will answer my calls. He will tell me "don't worry, I will come back to finish the job" - almost with a snark and will never commit to a day or time. He only answers my calls from numbers that he doesn't recognize and gives me the same line every time.
