I purchased 2 three hours vouchers from Living Social for Clean Excel. I scheduled the appt online as required. But forgot to leave my address. I kept trying to call to give them my address but they never returned my calls. Finally the night before they called me back. They didn't show up after an hour so I called the number back that called me from the night before and of course no answer. So I left a message. 2 Cleaners showed up 15 min later. I keep my house very clean so there wasn't much to do except dust, baseboards, make the beds, vacuum, etc. Well both cleaners stayed upstairs for the first hour and a half. Then the last hour they did a hurry job downstairs. They didn't even stay for the entire 3 hours. I did an inspection after the left and nothing was dusted and the mirrors weren't cleaned. I have french doors in my office and my 5 year old son pressed his fingers and face against the glass one day and his face impressions were still there, proving they hadn't cleaned it! To make matters worse, the next day they redeemed both 3 hour vouchers I had purchased although they only stayed for app. 2 1/2 hours. I had to call Living Social to get a refund on the 2nd voucher.

We request the customers leave their address information when scheduling online. We also have a 2 hour window that is listed visible on our site. Servicing a large number of people with the same kind of cleaning we account for traffic, weather, scheduling changes, unforeseen events at the previous cleaning and unexpected events with availability. We also have a detailed list of rules regarding the cleaning vouchers and a cleaning list of what is covered in a Standard Cleaning: which is what the customer purchased. Windows and baseboards are not included in this particular package that is an extra service. We were also told to ONLY clean the bathrooms and vacuum the floors because the rooms had been already cleaned, although we did tidy the rooms to clear the floor for vacuuming. A mistake was made in the computer system however Clean Excel was well aware that the 2nd voucher had not been redeemed and we were ready for her 2nd cleaning. If the cleaning was so terrible for this customer to put up 3 different reviews on 3 different sites, we have not heard from the customer and her cleaning was done over 2 weeks ago to even rectify the situation. We always give our customers the opportunity to communicate to the company any concerns and any thanks. We take malicious accusations regarding our business seriously and plan to address them accordingly.
I purchased a Living Social coupon and had my cleaning done a week ago. I always have a hard time getting my old hardwood floors to look shiny. So when the cleaners finished my hardwoods they looked really clean and shiny. I was impressed with the amount of detail they reached places and corners I'm never able to get to. I was very happy to schedule regular service with them to help maintain my floors.

I purchased a 3hr cleaning via Eversave & made an appointment for the following week. Cleaners were supposed to be there between 12-4pm. I took half-day off work and no one ever showed up. I finally got a return call stating that the appointment was never put on the calendar. In exchange for the inconvenience, they offered a 5hr cleaning for the same price the following week. One person promptly showed up for the cleaning the following week. Now - our house is not filthy. We clean it regularly but really wanted someone to come in and do all the little things like baseboards, windows, behind the toilet, etc. We asked her to clean 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, stairs, kitchen, living room, dining room. Mind that 2 of the bedrooms, one bathroom, and the dining room are rarely used so other than collecting a bit of dust, there's not much to do. In nearly 4.5 hours, she did not leave the upstairs. She came downstairs and did a cursory job there but said that she was understaffed and had to leave but would be willing to set up a THIRD appointment to come back. I've now taken two half days off and put our dog in daycare twice. They didn't call back for a week and I finally said forget it. To top it all off, there was A LOT of things that she was supposed to do and didn't - even in the upstairs where she spent 4.5 hours!! I can't imagine how upset I would be if I'd paid full price! Will not use again and definitely not recommend to others.

A mistake was made in scheduling the customer and they agreed it was an oversite. For her patience and time I offered to give her extra cleaning. Two cleaners were to come and I informed her of what happened to my staffing. When cleaning was not finished we advised we would come back and finish. I called the customer left a message and never received a reply. I waited some time and then called back and left an additional message, still no response to which she said I waited and week to get back to her which was not true. As for the cleaning, windows take time, and baseboards that have been untouched in places such as the bathroom take time, as well as excessive pet hair. When time ran out for the cleaning I asked the customer was she satisfied with the upstairs she explained she was. She may not see where 4.5 was done, but as always I give my customers the opportunity to address cleaning concerns on the spot as well as up to 3 days after.
I had Clean Excel's "ultimate cleaning" done. We had recently had a baby and gotten way behind on the daily maintainence. Our home was sparkling clean and fresh after they were finished. From top to bottom everything was clean. We will definitely have them come again.
