Musicians beware of Club 29!
When this club was Jake's, it was a great venue for great live music. While the club has been remodeled and looks great, the owners have screwed over many musicians in the last year or so. Musicians and music lovers should boycott this place! They are getting great live music and not paying the musicians! What a shame. Hopefully they'll be forced to close their doors and a real music lover will take over. In the meantime, don't play there if you're a musician, unless you want to play for free, and don't support this club by entering the doors!

New and Improved!!!
For anyone who has not been to Club 29 since remodeling and changing names(from Jake's Toad House)you are missing out. The place looks fantastic and the sound system there ROCKS! The bar is better, the food is better, the atmosphere is better, the whole place is top notch. The Tuesday Night open mic and Jam is great.
