Unless you want to hand over thousands of dollars for no good reason, do not go to this office. The other reviews say pretty much the same- they will want to charge you for many unnecessary out of pocket procedures. I have a long history of good dental reports, but the dentist refused to let me have a basic cleaning because "she would lose her license" by not doing more. That's just the beginning. They provided me with a "treatment plan" that amounted to several thousand non- covered dollars, and I left. I called my I surname company, got authorized for a second opinion, went to a new dentist who confirmed that my teeth and mouth were in good shape, and got my teeth cleaned at no out-of-pocket expense. Enough said?

I had not seen a dentist in 8 years. Don't like them. I had a small abscess in my mouth. I was told that I would need a deep cleaning of my teeth. I understood this, and agreed that this would be the best idea. They wanted to charge me $1700 out of pocket expenses for this. My insurance was covering more than that for it. They offered me EZ financing terms with it. I thought that it was only $900 and was fixing to shell out the money. When it went to $1700 I sought a second opinion. Second opinion was that I did indeed need a deep cleaning, and the new dentist found 2 cavities that the Coast dentist missed. Cost me 1/10th of what Coast wanted. WOW am I glad I didn't shell out the money now. The operation here is borderline criminal. The dentist did not seem confident with his job here and again MISSED two DEEP cavities. Please for your sake stay far away from this place.

What a scam this place is- it certainly isn't about your oral hygiene; it's about how deep they can get in your wallet (and I mean your wallet- not your insurance)I've never seen so many hands at one time looking for money. And the "office manager", well she's got the personality of a brick wall and rude. She carries that race chip on her shoulder. I wish I'd been able to give no stars on the review.

They insist that you need a deep cleaning when in fact my teeth are in excellent condition...and has now been verified by 2nd opinion. They would not do a regular cleaning for $65 saying "it was against the law" to clean regular when a deep cleaning at $200 was needed. They lie and are not honest.

Everytime my husband went to this office, they tried to charge him for things that our insurance covered at 100%. Then I would bring it to their attention and they would change their stories (although the proof was in the dental evaluation papers they gave us). The staff is even rude to each other, the office manager (Chris) sits at the front desk, watches you come in and says absolutely nothing to you. When she does, she makes you feel like you are a child. I waited for 30 minutes until I finally got some assistance (which I had to initiate). The office is tiny, and not very clean. I am not sure about other Coast dental offices, but please stay away from this one.

The dental service was professional and thorough. However, with my first cleaning of the year I did not have problems with FULL insurance coverage. The next time around, I was charged extra (including a 2nd X-ray that they insisted on which I tried to refuse since I already had one earlier in the year). After months of correspondence with the administration looking for an explanation and constant following up, I was told it was linked wrong on the computer and I was liable for the charges. Needless to say, I ended up paying so that I did not have to continue wasting my time with the disorganized and un-responsive front office staff and corporate accounting office. The dentist is a person you should only have to think of twice a year!

I had a terrible experience at this dental facility. I went there because they were on my dental insurance. They took an absurd number of x-rays telling me that they were covered by my insurance (they weren't). Then the dental hygenist went over my gums claiming that I had very bad deterioration and need a special irrigation treatment. This was not covered by my insurance and when I said I didn't want the treatment the hygenist said he couldn't clean my teeth if I didn't get the treatment. I told him that I would have to go elsewhere then. He put a lot of pressure on me, and he finally did the cleaning as long as I bought some mouth rinse which was also not covered by my insurance. To top it off, he did a terrible job on the cleaning. Several weeks later I received a bill for charges that were not covered by the insurance. While they took the insurance there was not "reasonable and customary" agreement so I ended up paying about $80. I have very healthy teeth and gums. This place is not interested in your oral health they are just out to get your money. Stay away.
