Don't even think about using Coast Dental in Acworth. My wife had some dental work done there last summer. We had to pay up front for their services and once our dental insurance made their payments Coast was to refund to us any that we overpaid. That ended up being $450 and we have been trying to get a refund from Coast Dental since September. IT IS LIKE PULLING TEETH TRYING TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK FROM COAST DENTAL. The Baker Rd office has been absolutely no help in getting the refund processed at their home office. COAST DENTAL WILL NOT REFUND YOUR MONEY AS PROMISED

What they claim your insurance will cover is not accurate. The two times I used them they later sent bills saying my insurance would not cover x and y. I made a couple of payments and on the next statements it said I paid $0 dollars. I contacted them (it took several weeks for there billing department to get back to me), they informed that I had made payments but could not explain why their statements did not reflect this. I blame my self for not checking the reviews or checking with the BBB. The BBB has given Coast Dental an F rating. I am currently with a new dentist and their quotes on what my insurance will cover has been accurate.

I do not recomment this Dentistry. The staff is average, the service is not that great. I had several fillings and a crown done at this place. The $1,400 (No Insurance) crown broke after 1.5 years and they told me that it was not covered under warranty and there was nothing they could do other than to purchase another one. They also charged me approx. $25 to get my records so that I can go to another dentist, which is typically free. Overall, I do not recomment this place. Check out Acworth Family Dentistry instead.

Went in to get a fillling repaced and ended up taking out a quote to do the so called "needed additional work" for over $5000, which they agreed to finance at only 17.9% interest. Looking for another dentist.

My husband and I decided to use this dentist because it was the most convienent to our house and accepting new patients. We went in for an evaluation so we could get cleanings and walked out with a combined bill of over 12,000 dollars... and thats with our insurance! Not to mention we were there for three hours for our evaluations. I truely believe it's a scam to make as much money as possible. They are crazy if they think we can spend that kind of money on our teeth. I could honestly get all my teeth replaced for less than that! They broke it up for us on payment plans of over $1000 per visit. In my opinion thats not a payment plan. We are, needless to say, looking for another dentist!

I agree with the other reviewers. I have never had a dental experience like this before where they come up with all kinds of charges and work that you have to pay for out of pocket before you can even get your teeth cleaned. We are now at about $400 out of pocket and haven't even gotten our cleaning that is covered by insurance. The hygeinist checked my daughters teeth, said everything looked fine, then dentist came in and miraculously found a cavity right before we left. I think it's a complete scam and we're going to another dentist.

I am not covered by dental insurance and pricing is obviously important to me. I went here to get an estimate on some work and it seems before I could even start talking to them they were trying to sell me some dental cleaning appliance. I go to a dentist for service, not for a hard sell. I didn't even consider returning even though it is by far the closest dental office to where I live. Coast Dental will not get my business.

If you want to feel like your in a corporate environment go here. If you want friendly personal, professional service this is not the place to visit for Dental work. Office Manager/Insurance person is the rudest and most disrepectful person I have dealt with in a long time. Dentist was nice but not like independent offices. Don't go here for any reason.
