While waiting for my car to be realigned, I had some great quality time with Ron. He told me that he, as well as many of his staff are highly qualified technicians who were originally trained and worked at BMW Dealerships.

He told me how the "good" guys there have a difficult time truly helping the owners of BMWs because the value of the corporations stressed "speed" and "efficiency." Not quality, or customer satisfaction.

I appreciated learning about Ron's business, and feeling the sincerity and passion for his work.

Any money that I do spend maintaining and repairing my mini, is only going to be trusted with Coast Motor Werks.

Coast Motor Werk is a shop in Huntington Beach that I trust a lot. The owner, Ron, does an excellent job of calming you down when you are in shock after hearing all the problems with your car. I had several maintenance items that needed to be done, as well as replacing the front bushings. The total came to about two grand, and so I asked him if some things could wait for a bit and he honestly gave me the scoop on what could wait and what needed to be done right away. I hadn't driven the car for a year or so to avoid paying for repairs which I knew would be high. He's an honest man and I appreciate him telling me the truth. I ended up doing everything he suggested, and am glad I did as the car runs as well as it did the first day I took it off the lot seven years ago in 2004. It's a 325ci and I love it. I'm so happy that I decided not to sell it. Go to this auto shop as they are the best in town, and their prices are very reasonable compared to the dealerships. --Jon M.

I would NOT trust my 2006 M6 in anybody's hands but Ron's. Knowledgeable and honest. Plus he used to pilot a big block Firebird like I did. My brother (x5) and sister-in-law (530xi) are going to become customers also as soon as BMW warranties expire.

Ron, Brad and the rest of the guys at Coast Motor Werk took much better care of me all around than the dealerships that I was going to. When my 2008 328i recently had a problem that occurred at the hands of another auto repairman, Ron took it in during his busy schedule looked at it and handled it right there and then. Because it was minor, he just took care of it for me and let me have my car back. No questions asked. That's the definition of customer service. These people have it down to a science. I trust CMW because they've always proven to be an honest auto repair shop that will only give you what you need and that is rare these days when repair shops are all about making more money.

I'm so glad to have found Ron at Coast Motor Werk. He and his employees, including Brad who I've dealt with on the phone many times, are exceptionally courteous and helpful- before they even get you in the shop. You get a very old-fashioned (hence, much better) standard of customer service that in a very discernable way treats customers as the highest priority. Before taking your car in, Ron has what almost feels like a checklist that he has to conduct so that everyone has a clear understanding all around. Up front on the phone, he'll spend the time discussing the possibilities, in the shop after looking at the car he'll speak to you in detail about what's going on, take the time to explain what your options are and what will happen in whichever scenario you decide to go with, SINCERELY workS with you on THE BEST price he can give you and then keeps you updated all the while that you're waiting. Ron and crew do not cut corners, which I value a lot. They also don't pull stuff like discover something while they're working on it, and just tell you at the end. Not only does Ron have the highest integrity, but he's surrounded himself with employees that match him in that respect. And that's not even beginning to talk about Ron's expertise when it comes to BMW. He can take one apart and put it back together with his eyes closed. They are the answer to all bad service experiences I've had. I'm so grateful to have found a place to take my 2008 328i over the coming years.
