These guys were the worst people in general i have come in contact with. They showed up 2 hours late and then told me to understand why they were late. Scratched my walls, tore up my carpet and even scrached my 55'' TV screen. I have not heard from them since they moved me and my family. Ive tried to call about 4 times. DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS!

I didn't use them, but my neighbors did. And while moving my neighbors in, they got their truck stuck on the utility lines running to my house and ripped them off of my house. They didn't come tell me about this...they just kept on working...another neighbor saw it happen and came over and told me...When I confronted the movers about it, they didn't offer to help me, or even apologize. I called the company about it and got a terse "I'll look into it," and then was hung up on. If they are this inconsiderate and willing to damage random people's property, then I sure as heck would never trust them with my furniture.

I hired Coastal Moving for a simple move, a dinning room table, six chairs, and a hutch from Carlsbad to San Marcos. They quoted me $225. When moving day came they not only charged me $225 but another $577.50. When I finally caught this on my cc statement and called they stated they knew it may have happened, never told me that is might, and would refund my money ASAP. Well that was almost two months ago and I have seen nothing. I have attempted to contact numerous time with no success. Not a good experience at all and cannot and will not recommend them to anyone. Buy beware.

I can say nothing but good things about the movers and the office - both were a pleas to deal with, and professionals. I do, however, believe ~$80 an hour is too much money for a move. I used Coastal because I had to get out last minute, and my friend told me he knew of movers. Otherwise, I would have shopped around more. Paying more than 100 dollars total to move a studio seems preposterous to me.

There is no way I will ever move myself again. Coastal was the lowest price I can find (which did set off some alarms) but we're quite efficient at their jobs. We had our house moved to Valley center in less time than it took is to run 4 carloads over in the days before the actual move. Unreal.

My move was small but wasn't easy. Only a couple things were being moved. One was a large desk that the last company (which was awful) spent 45 minutes moving up the step and through the narrow hallway and door. Driver Angel and his helper Augustus moved the desk into the truck in about 5 minutes, never complaining, never remarking what a feat it was. It was just like breathing to them. Aside from the heavy/bulky desk the move was pretty easy and straight forward. The guys did right, got the move done quick, for which I tipped them well and got them a sandwich. I move all the time so I'm gonna demand this same crew next time - excellent.

My move was a little complicated because I had 3 drop offs. I had everything planned out, so that the furniture would be loaded in the proper order. As I was doing a walk-through with the driver he mentioned to me that he had different colors post-its that they use on their senior moves to designate what goes and what doesn't. So what he (Angel) suggested was while he and his helper begin moving the stuff that would be unloaded last, I would put 3 different colored post-its on the furniture going to each location. This saved quite a bit of confusion. Everything was loaded rapidly and delivered to where it was supposed to go - it was all marked. Probably saved about 15-30 minutes just from that simple organization suggestion. Very please with Angel and crew.

Angel and his helper, Kenny provided me with my first move that didn't feel like a nightmare. My friend Jen totally hooked me up by telling me about these boys. They showed up on time. In a big truck. And worked like freaking gods, i mean dogs.... i mean both. Rugged guys, and I say that as a compliment.

My friends are complete losers. Nobody would help me move so I called Coastal Moving. Now I know these guys are getting paid (i'm sure not much given Coastals rates), but they worked way to hard for the 9 to 13 dollars an hr they were probably making. Doing stuff that could possibly ruin their back, and get seriously injured otherwise. I got way more than I expected (and deserved) from Coastal. Paid less than 300 to move my whole place. My mechanic charges me that to change spark plugs. Unbelievable.

I didn't want to hire movers. My boyfriend is a lazy a s s. He had a friend that had used this company, so I made the call to Coastal, 5 minutes later I was set up to move. I'm like, is this a joke? I can't by a soda at the gas station in less than 5 minutes. Sure enough the movers arrived on time day of the action and threw these big pads over my things and ran the stuff to the truck. I made sure to inspect all my furniture (just so I could yell at my bf for paying for movers) and I couldn't find a scratch. This was a pretty effortless, affordable experience. Not what I would expect from movers, for sure. Recommend Joe - he's the crew leader. Great attitude, fast mover.

These boys just moved my partner and I to Tempe. I was worried as heck about my stuff getting banged up but everything was fine. I had lots and lots of pictures but the guys took care of them in these big padded boxes, which I haven't seen before. I'm coming back to Cali in a few months so I know who I'm calling!
