I spent a lot of $ for PPx and Clearlight acne treatments. The treatments were spread over the course of many weeks where I would go in and have the PPx and then right after, I would have the Clearlight. During my last visit, they did the PPx treatment and then told me that the Clearlight was broken, but not to worry b/c my results would be the same. Well, they weren't, I definitely benefited a lot from the combined treatment, not to mention that I paid for both. So, I was not happy that I wasn't informed about the machine being broken ahead of time as I had taken the day off from work to have the treatment. The doctor and office staff were not very concerned that I wasn't happy and were very nasty over the phone when I called to complain and to try to work something out. Since they said the PPx was the same, they would not give me an opportunity to come back and have the Clearlight treatment. I ended up going back into the office and sitting there until someone would meet with me. I finally got all of the treatments I paid for, but it took way more effort on my part than it should have. I do not recommend them to anyone. They do not seem to understand customer service and from what I could tell, they do not invest in keeping their equipment maintained and up to date.

When I checked in, I saw something that disturbed me immediately. The appointment list was out and I was able to see the number of patients due in that day to see her which set off an alarm. I came in early for my appointment which was supposed to be the first and waited an hour to get into an examination room. (which was freezing) When she finally came in (it was for a full physical)she flipped me over like a fish, spent (no kidding) 2 minutes with me, took a biopsy and walked out. I was in shock. I have been to pretty narcisstic doctors before, but she was the worst. There is no excuse for that kind of service. When I walked out to pay, they tried to sell me on a $70 moisturizer. I said I don't think so. One week later I received an invoice from the lab who did the biopsy. Dr. Cole's office took no responsibility for it. I will never recommend her services to anyone.

Someone needs to explain to the good doctor that we are customers and should not be talked down to. This was the worst feeling I have EVER had with a doctor. IMHO, she feels like she is doing me a favor.... Well, I pay the bill, so who is doing who a favor? I would NOT EVER recommend that anyone go to see her. Thanks,

I just went to see Dr. Cole today and was a bit wary because of the reviews I saw on this website. However, I was pleasantly surprised. I originally had to cancel my appointment because I had something come up. The receptionist gladly rescheduled me without charging me although I was not giving 24 hours notice. I went in and the receptionist was very friendly. The music was really nice and the place was really peaceful. I went in because I have a skin disorder and haven't had luck with the medicines I had been using to treat it. Dr. Cole was very friendly and was concerned about some symptoms I have been experiencing and was the only doctor to actually do some more blood work. She also removed a mole that looked a little weird....she did not make me come back and removed it on the spot. She asked me more than once if I was okay with what she suggested we do. I felt like she was really interested in me, my skin disorder, and my treatment. I did not feel like she was pushing anything. I was really happy. It is unfortunate that she received bad reviews on this board because I thought she was excellent and a caring doctor.

I went for a free consultation for tattoo removal. They took me back 20 minutes after my appointment time. The doctor spent a total of maybe 30 seconds in the room with me and when I tried to ask one question she seem irritated that she had to answer it. She also quoted me a price about five times that of another reputable plastic surgeon.

I had a mole removed that showed signs of pre-cancer. I had to have a large area of skin removed and stitched. The receptionist had scheduled a certain day I had to come back, she said if I came back later than that date that the stitches may be in too long and cause scarring, so I scheduled for that date. The receptionist called back and said they would have to move my appt a few days later. I told her I would rather not if it will cause scarring. She said Dr Cole had scheduled a vacation and would not be able to do it on the original scheduled date. She told me it would be OK and it should not scar. Well, it has been a couple years and I still have a scar and stitch marks. I go to another derm now who said this could have been prevented. My new derm will have to re-open the cut and re-stitch to resolve this. The other issue I have is that she wants to do a visual exam of moles, she will tell you which need to be removed, then you have to re-schedule to come back for removal. Most derms will remove them on the spot. She also tried to sell me on the $3,000 laser facial treatment- I was able to find a better laser treatment for less$$

Dr. Cole did not help me at all. I too was told that nothing would help me other than that $3,000 treatment which is bogus. It seems the office is more interested in offering expensive treatments and products, rather than getting to the root of the problem.

I was very disappointed with the service I received at Dr.Cole's office. I went for acne scarring and hyperpigmentation. Dr.Cole did not want to help me when I said I was unable to afford a $3000 procedure. She then brought in an obnoxious lady to tell me about facials. I would not recommend Dr.Cole's services to anyone.

I had the worst experience on February 12, 2008. I make an appointment after watching a segment on Fox 5 regarding a new acne procedure called PPx and when I got to the office was told they don't do this procedure on black skin and that if I wanted some consultant on non-costmetic, then I will have to pay $100 consultation fee. No where on their website did it mention PPx is not for black skin. There was no class in Dr. Cole. The doctor, while I was standing by the receptionist, told her that PPx does not work on black skin instead of telling me personally. I wouldn't go back even if they were giving away free service.
