huge servings, home cooking, 11/07/2007

i love the huge servings. always enough for 2 or 3 meals. home cooking and great veggies!

Not impressed, 3/08/2007

I love a dive, but this place is pushing it. For starters, they serve everything on styrofoam and you bus your own table, but they only trash can is OUTSIDE. When you open the door to take it out,... the wind inevitably sweeps stuff onto the floor so you have to clean up another mess. Plus, all the tableware is plastic, which just won't cut it if you're trying to eat a pork chop. Also the place is busting at the seams, with only four tables, and no high chairs for kids. The sweet tea and cornbread were great and so was my pork chop but the okra was so slimey I could barely stomach it--and I'm not that picky! I don't think I'll be going back.

Very good for Southern Cooking and Big Portions.

I have been to this restaurant three times and each time I have not been dissapointed. The portions are good and the people there greet you as if you have been coming for years. They have daily specials that come with a cake and sweet tea. They were very busy each time I was there, but I only spent five minutes to get my food and go. That hardly ever happens anymore during the lunch hour. I will keep going back and enjoying the great service. My favorite is the Meatloaf. See you there!!!!
