Great service from a great small business
I just happened upon your website and was browsing through some of the entries when I happened upon a negative review for Collier Stone Company. I couldn't believe it! I, too, am a woman and one who uses the services and products of Collier Stone Company repeatedly. I have NEVER had a problem with this company. It is a small business and is actually partially owned BY A WOMAN, therefore I am having a difficult time believing that, if indeed there HAD been a problem, the problem wasn't addressed and taken care of. Perhaps the writer of the negative review was having an ""off"" day - or perhaps the wayward driver was - but honestly, after having dealt with Collier Stone in the past I just can NOT believe that this small business did not call this woman, or address her woes in some way. And HOW is an employer permitted in any way to take ""money from an employee's paycheck"" to pay restitution to one unsatisfied customer? Isn't that against the law? \r\rBy all means, I would whole heartedly endorse this company and I give them the highest rating I can. I just hope the woman who wrote the negative review does not own a company of her own that might, someday. make a mistake!! After all, to forgive is divine!

Driver called me a MORON!
I would not recommend Collier Stone Company, especially if you are a woman. The driver did not have a Mapquest map, he could not find my street. He could not follow my directions to the street. When he finally arrived one hour later, he had a BAD ATTITUDE. He said "" If you weren't such a MORON, and had given me good directions, I would have been here a long time ago!"" He refused to ease the gravel off the truck, he didn't care how quickly he backed onto the landscape cloth, messing it all up. It makes so much more work for us to spread it now. He made no apology. The company offered no compensation for this bad treatment. I wanted money from his paycheck - It did not happen. My suggestion would be to go somewhere else for your gravel needs. Go somewhere where you will be treated with respect, and not called a MORON. Getting respect is not a lot to ask!
