Comfort Inn

This is by far the worst experience I have had to date. After traveling almost 500 miles for a weekend visit with family, we arrived at the Comfort Inn in Wheelersburg, OH. To make a long story not quite as long, I'll summarize:\rAir-conditioning doesn't work properly. Not a big deal, we'll open the window. No screen and strange activity in parking lot 2 feet from the window. Shower alternates between scalding hot and frigid cold so I shower at a relatives home. Hot tub party and luggage throwing upstairs that continues until 6:00 AM. As I tried to fall asleep, something oe somebody in the corner of the bed/comforter leave itchy, red welts on my legs. Don't sleep as strangers knock on the window (putting thier hand in he room) twice (3 or 4 AM) and the door once. The back door of the hotel is never locked and people come and go all night longmostly drunk teenagers. I went to talk to the front desk clerk. She asked if I wanted to talk to the owner. Here is my favorite part: Out comes the owner with a chip on his shoulder. I told him of the various events during my stay. He told me that I had to call immediately or there is nothing he will do. I wasn't asking him to do anything except listen (hot water would have been cool too). I explained that the itching was happening at that exact moment. Nothing. I called about the hot water when I returned to the room. I waited an hour and a half and had no response from him. Have to shower else where AGAIN. The hotel was for sleeping and showering. Neither of which took place. I would recommend this place to my dog. Filthy, rude and unsafe....
