Pros: I have taken my dog to companion animal hospital for the last three years. I recently moved, but am considering continuing to use this clinic for general needs. She was diagnosed with an enlarged heart here, and I've gone to them for medication, vaccines, x-rays of the heart, and anal glad expression. Dr. Verma took the time to clearly explain the x-rays and answer any questions, and I left with a good impression of him. Overall, it is a good clinic. Cons: Sometimes the wait can be excessive. Appointments are sometimes late to start and I think I waited about 30 minutes once to get medications. This clinic refused to write a prescription / give approval for my dog's medication, Theophylline. I could find it cheaper online but needed vet approval by phone. They refused and instead gave me a brochure for a home-delivery company they work with. I went to another vet that was referred to me, Dr. V on Rancho and Cheyenne, for the teeth-cleaning. (I felt more comfortable going to a referred vet to put my dog under for the procedure.) He agreed to give online approval for the medication, which has saved me money and time. I assume Companion didn't want to do this because they wouldn't make any money off the meds?

We have a cat that has some demanding health issues. When they first developed, Dr. Verma and Dr. Noyes saved her life (we thought she would have to be put down) and have kept up with her health ever since. They treated her like she was their own cat, and now when we have to go out of town, we even board her there because we know she will get top notch treatment from highly skilled and very caring staff. Then, to make things even better, the staff has gone way out of their way to make us feel welcome like a part of their family, and most importantly, heard. When we call, they remember us right off the bat, and they are so quick to help us with anything we need. They even call to check up on our cat when we take her home, and Dr. Verma and Dr. Noyes both provide very thorough followup care over the phone, free of charge, and answer every question (no matter how many times I ask it) with the patience of saints.

We were visiting my mother right down the street when our little chihuahua got sick. We referred by a friend of my mothers who loves Dr. Verma and his staff so we called and made an appointment. He was very knowledgable and explained in details we could understand. Had we not taken her to him when we did, we would have lost her. THANK GOD FOR DR. VERMA...you will not be disappointed. He even made a point of calling to check on her. We are so glad we found out this great animal hospital while being 700 miles from home.

I have 3 dogs and Dr. Verma has taken care of all of them. Dr. Verma is very detailed and explain everything to the owners. I would recommend him to everyone! I have recently moved and I still drive over 20 miles one way to his office.
