I took my 15 year old German Shepherd to Complete Animal Eyecare for glaucoma/cataracts in her right eye. Dr. Silverman ran tests which were very thorough and explained to me what the tests were for... and the findings.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
I had cataract surgery done here. My dog was seeing very well. The first night I put him on the bed, not thinking about it, and the dog fell off the bed causing damage to the eye!! I felt awful. I... called Dr. Silverman at Complete Animal Eyecare right away -- the eye specialist is redoing the surgery to help with the damage and not charging me anything. I am so impressed.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

My bulldog needed an entropion surgery. The folds above his eyes were falling into his eyes causing great discomfort. This was not unnecessary plastic surgery -- the animal ophthalmologist did a very complicated procedure where he moved back those folds to above the eyes. Later, I wasn't sure I would be able to do the aftercare correctly so I took him to my regular vet at an animal hospital with several other vets. They all came out to look and were very impressed. None of them had ever seen this type of surgery done so well on an animal's eye. Thank you Doctor!
My vet in Pasadena referred me to Complete Animal Eyecare Center when my dog had an eye problem. I found the staff efficient and friendly. They got me in quickly -- the animal eye doctor's diagnosis was right on target. The issue was taken care of with medicine, which avoided a costly surgery.
My Lhasa was all set for surgery with animal eye specialist, Dr. Silverman. On the day set for surgery, my dog's blood count was low. The veterinary eye specialist did not push to take my dog into surgery. He decided to bring up the blood count first, even though he had put this time aside for us. He was thinking of the dog first and foremost. The animal eye doctor worked closely with my vet in Pasadena to be sure the bloodwork was perfect before taking my dog into surgery. I even got a month of free rechecks. My dog has very good vision now.
I found an eye doctor for dogs near Los Angeles when my dog had an allergy in her eye. I found Complete Animal Eyecare right off the 405 and 101 freeways. My dog Jezebel was given medicine to treat the condition. The costs were okay, especially with the costs of medicine now at pharmacies like CVS and Rite Aid. The rechecks were very important because it turned out there was a medication Jezebel was resistant to. I was impressed when the animal ophthalmologist called me immediately when the lab results came in. I am glad we switched medicines right away -- very fast on the uptake here. I would refer this animal eye clinic.
Dr. Silverman prescribed a few medications that worked great! The issue has completely gone away. THANKS!!!!
My rescue dog from the shelter developed cataracts in both eyes. The eye surgeon operated on both of them successfully. I found this clinic to be very reasonable when I compared costs.
I was very happy with the care I got here. My cat got in a fight with another cat. There was blood I could see inside the eye. The doctor said he got scratched in the eye and had a rip in his cornea. The doctor operated on my cat where he sutured the cornea and flushed the blood out of the eye. After 3 weeks the blood is gone and my cat can see.
He is a part of our family and we are happy that you were able to make him well again! xoxo
I would highly recommend this hospital if your dog needs eye care -- especially quickly. My dog ran into a bush and got a thorn in his eye. I waited awhile not sure what it was. This was a mistake -- the eye actually ruptured. I felt unbelievably awful. I rushed him to my vet who put a catheter in his leg and called Dr. Silverman. Dr Silverman did a graft on my dog that saved his eye. If I had to travel far away or couldn't get into an eye doctor right away, I am sure my dog would have lost all vision. The eye would have had to have been removed. With gas prices this high, the fact that this hospital was close by in Sherman Oaks was a blessing too. Right off the 101 and 405. My dog being in such pain I did not want to go far away like to Camarillo or Pasadena. Dr. Silverman was kind, warm and an obvious expert in what he does. Thank you Dr. Silverman.
My King Charles Cavalier of 12 years -- my best buddy -- developed a corneal indolent ulcer. He needed a procedure called a keratectomy. I was very impressed how quickly and efficiently the staff at Complete Animal Eyecare worked with my vet to get the current bloodwork needed and 2 Xrays. This was done at my vet's in one day and we scheduled the procedure for later that week. Everything went beautifully. His vision returned; he was taken out of discomfort and returned to normal. I was very relieved.
My dog came here for cataract surgery. Along with a discount in the surgical price, I was also back for 4 rechecks at no cost in the first 30 days. This is real service. The doctor here cares about his work and the costs people pay. As many rechecks needed are included free for 30 days. This is part of what you pay for in the surgical cost. I had not ever seen this before. The surgery came out great and it was a tremendous relief we would be able to come back as much as needed for free in that first 30 days.
My dog had a scratch on his cornea from a cat scratch. I got in here the same day and was impressed with the care I received. This hospital is excellent.
Couldn't be happier with the service Molly and I received at Complete Animal Eye Care Center. We were taken in right away, and the vet was very thorough, and explained everything very well.
