As a first time home buyer, Dan was instrumental in finding the right home. He was extremely thorough during his inspection of two homes while taking the time to explain his inspection process and how he reached his conclusions. He never wants to find anything but if there are problems, he will. He helped us avoid a potential money pit in an older home while also identifying a health concern in our now current home. We were able to get the safety concern fixed prior to closing, all thanks to Dan. He goes beyond identification of issues and provides real world expectations to fix. I would (and will) recommend Dan for any inspection. My experience with Dan was as awarding as imaginable. I walked away with the knowledge and confidence needed to make smart purchasing decisions.

As good as it gets is a great way to describe Dan's work. I'm a first time home buyer and was extremely insecure about the place I was buying, but Dan came in and literally picked that place apart. He found every little thing that was wrong, and most importantly, alerted me to a faulty airflow system that could have cost me over 10 thousand dollars. Thanks to him, I got over a 12K reduction on top of my final offer and now have the peace of mind of living in a place that is safe and healthy conditions. Dan's inspection is worth 10 inspectors in different departments, and he will take the time to explain each and every aspect of his recommendations during and after the inspection. A+

Dan conducted a thorough home inspection and took the time to explain everything to us in understandable terms. He helped us prioritize resolution of our issues and has continued to be available for our questions re: steps and resources for home improvements. I trust Dan and anyone he recommends. He's amazing!

We worked with Dan Curl on the inspection of a home we are purchasing. He walked us through every step of the inspection as he thoroughly explored every nook and cranny of the home. He explained what he was doing and why. He documented all of his findings as he went along, and gave us an excellent recap of his findings before leaving us for the day. He took great care to make sure that we understood what he was telling us and why it was important. We had a report of his findings within two days. In addition to his findings related to our purchase of the house, Dan made thoughtful recommendations about improvements we could make over time that would improve the comfort and energy efficiency of our home. When a needed repair was completed by the seller, Dan came back out to reinspect it on very short notice. In the end, Dan was responsive, professional, friendly, and an excellent help to us in the purchase of our home. I would definitely work with him again, and highly recommend him to anyone seeking a home inspector.

Not the typical inspection scenario, I needed a pre-negotiation inspection on my grandfather's house to determine the extent of repairs necessary prior to estimating a price on the home. Dan is very knowledgable and had a lot of great suggestions about the house. He pointed out all of the major problems with the property, and even went the extra mile and helped me immensely by providing some ballpark estimates on the repairs. He also provided me with information on basic building mechanics and airflow concepts regarding older homes which will be useful when talking to and looking for a general contractor to affect the necessary repairs and upgrades. I received all of the discussed information in a 24 page report promptly after the inspection.
