the final solution
after living with a wet basement for 30 years and countless "solutions" and $$$$$ Ct. basement systems has answered all our prayers! They installed a system in the dead of winter, came back and tweaked it (added a couple of additional below the floor drains) at no cost to me, and finished the outside drain after the spring thaw. great response time for minor problems or questions. Not a drop of water since!

UPDATE to: Connecticut Basement Systems failed us
This is an update to negative feedback I submitted on 03.07.11 after our basement took on water. Our basement system was not able to handle the extreme weather/water conditions we've experienced in our area. However, after posting my experience, I was promptly contacted by a CT Basement Manager, who apologized for all of the inconvenience and a reasonable discussion followed about how they will work to correct the situation. A CT Basement Service Technician has been to our house to assess the damage and he has established a plan for some additional measures that will be put in place under the company's warranty agreement. While this process has been frustrating trial and error, I believe the company is acting in good faith and doing a good job to rectify the situation. They have certainly been responsive and taken responsibility for these unforeseen circumstances. I am grateful they have made themselves available and we have a resolution with which to proceed. I look forward to posting again when the entire process is complete. At this point I'm confident that their work is in fact guaranteed. Thank you.

Very good company
It seems as their staff is very knowledgeable when it comes to basement waterproofing. From the first phone call to clean up of the job was fantastic I recommend them highly.
