They repaired some ripped leather seats in my well-loved and well-used Honda Odyssey van, and the leather match is so great you can't even tell they were repaired!! I am so happy I found them, I plan to use them for some other repairs to other vehicles. Fast, reliable, and honest!!! Five stars!!!

Jim was great--friendly and honest. I own a Toyota Solara and they replaced the convertible top. I was only without my car for a few days. Now I feel like I'm in a new car. They even washed the car for me before I picked it up. Very reasonable price, too.

Jim was incredible to work with! I needed to have my vintage motorcycle seat reupholstered and was worried that I would get ripped off. I read a lot of reviews for different shops online, but Jim was the most responsive and told me to come in so that he (the owner) could personally take a look at the seat and give me a quote. He gave me his honest opinion and instead of trying to just take my money and upholster the whole seat, he said it would be better to preserve the integrity of the seat and only fix the back part of the seat that was tearing. He told me it would be ready in 2-3 days and it was ready that same afternoon! I could not be more pleased with the quality of the repair and will be recommending Jim to all of my friends in the area.

Called and spoke with Jim. He gave me great advice to repair my top- even if that meant less $ for him. He even told me where and what the repair items were. Great guy and if the owner is great, the business has to be great.

Occasionally one encounters a tradesman who provides service far beyond what one expected. That was the case with Mr. Jim Egan of "Contemporary Upholstery & Repair". My wife's car needed a repair to the upholstery on both front seats. Jim looked at the problem and said that it was a job I myself could do and showed me how to do it. Of course, brain surgery, is easy if one knows how to do it. Upon discussing the matter with my wife we decided it would be best to let Jim do the repair which he did to my complete satisfaction. This was such a pleasant experience I could almost wish I needed another auto upholstery repair. Thanks Jim.

I have (had-) a big problem- I can't sit properly in my own truck. After doing some research I came across Jim's reviews through a fellow F150 owners' remarks. Although I had read the best about the service approach, I was absolutely amazed to see it's actually true. Jim not only told me that my idea of "modifying" the seat would not make sense at all but actually helped me to find a quick fix on the internet (!). I was ready to pay whatever it takes just to fully enjoy my truck again- and I know Jim knew. Most businesses out there would have tried to strip me down to the bones. Not the way Jim does business. Hard to find attitude nowadays. Definitely recommended. Thanks, Andreas

I had the top replaced on my '98 Celica convertible and it looks fabulous, better than when I bought it 13 years ago. Very fair price and a great warranty . I will be taking my '95 Celica to Jim for a new top asap. I highly recommend!!!. Two thumbs up!

I called Jim to inquire about upholstery repair for my Subaru. Once I went to the shop, Jim and an upholstery specialist took a look at my vehicle, talked about the repair vs. replace options and gave me an estimate on the spot, free of charge. They were honest and clear. Excellent customer service.

I was told i needed to replace all the carpeting in my car. Jim looked at it and knew all I needed was a good product for cleaning. He instructed me on exactly what to buy and where! Awesome service!! A honest businessman who you can trust! Thanks Jim.

On Monday, my dad and I had the pleasure of meeting Jim at Contemporary Upholstrery & Repair. My dad has an older car that sqeaked when you sat on the driver set, plus a small tear on the side of the seat. Jim looked at the problem and immediately told us to buy some Wd 40 for the sqeaking and a seat cover and pad for the drivers seat. He then went and got WD 40 and sprayed in under the seat for my dad to fix the noise factor. He went ahead and gave us pricing but told us that he would feel bad taking the money and to come back and see him when the seat was really in need of reupholstering... I can not Thank Jim enough for his honesty and good will!!!! Any other company would have told my dad differently and tried to sell him all they could, not Jim. He was honest and with good intention!!!! I will forever spread the word of what we experienced that day and praise Jim and Contemporary Upholstery & Repair for their integraty with the customer!!!! Sincerely Marsel
