I found Cool Air at Costco. Our upstairs unit had gone out and I was having a hard time finding someone to come out quickly to repair, I have been holding off getting a new unit for years even though I should have gotten a new one 5 years ago. I called Costco and spoke to the rep at the Perimeter location at 4:56 pm - she had her sales manager, who was on his way home, turn around and come to our house to give us an estimate. He was at the house by 6:00 pm giving us an estimate and we had the new unit installed on one day later on Sat morning. We received an excellent unit at an excellent price. VERY HAPPY with both. -
We found Cool Air Mechanical at Costco and found not only a great deal, but a great company, too. From the estimate through the installation, we were very happy with the entire process. Quality Lennox HVAC system at a very good price, and the knowledge that Costco stood behind the work. The installation went smoothly, and our GA Power bill has gone down $60/month. Have recommended Cool Air to many friends.
I had two complete HVAC systems installed on Monday by two installers, Mike and Mike, and their assistants Victor and Nimme. They were knowledgeable, polite and careful while they were here. My house is very old, and I am sure they had some snags, but they were great. I believe they tried to clean up. However, at bedtime we realized that my daughter's room was completely covered in fibers from the attic insulation. It must have just poured from the return on the ceiling. It was not fun changing the sheets, vacuuming and dusting at 9:00. I would suggest taping resisters off, alerting customers to the possibility of a mess, or cleaning up all messes. No other rooms were affected. But overall I was happy with them. I had some small follow-up issues and questions. It did take two phone calls to get a response, and I was quite agitated, but they sent out Alex. He answered every question and adjusted the systems to address the problems I was having. He corrected a few things and rechecked the wiring. After he left my confidence in Cool Air was renewed. I edited my review to reflect this.
We had 5 other estimates before we called Cool Air.( Heard about them thru Costco.) Tom Munro came out the next day and was Very professional, polite, and answered our Many questions! Price, quality of Lennox, their location, and presentation made up our mind. Install entire HVAC system was Next day, today. Victor and Nima the installers were probably the BEST and most polite and professional business men we have ever dealt with. I cannot say enough to praise them!! They did a very neat and clean job and were considerate of my home, family, and my little dog! Who also by the way loved them. Many thanks for an AWESOME work ethic! HIGHLY recommend Cool Air Mechanical!!!!
I recently purchased a 3 ton AC unit, variable speed furnace, and steam humidifier from Cool Air Mechanical. The proposal went well and they worked hard to get me the unit I wanted at a competitive price. I felt they really wanted my business. The installation went smooth and except for the steam humidifier was completed in one day. They were professional and cleaned up both outside and in. The humidifier issue was that they had the wrong unit. They had a 220v unit and needed the 120v version so it could be direct wired. I was told the only difference was voltage. The next week Marvin and Nima installed the humidifier and completed the job. After installation I researched the humidifier settings online. There was a difference in the unit proposed and the one installed. Proposed was a 23 gallon unit installed was a 16 gallon. I contacted my sales person and was told that while the S2020 unit was proposed it was at the S2000 price so no difference in cost. He was unaware and found the issue was no room in my panel and the breaker needed by the 220v unit. I was told to monitor the humidity during the winter months and if the humidity was off they would make it right. According to the manufacturer website, the 16 gallon unit should be sufficient for the size of my home. Overall a good experience. Better communication on the swap of equipment would have gotten 5 stars.
Had CoolAir install a new A/C and evaporator coil on 7/9. Jorge and Guill arrived on time and explained what they would be doing. They were very professional and worked efficiently. Very respectful of our property. When completed, I was asked to check that everything was in proper order. Everything was fine and the work areas were spotless. These guys were great! This is the third time I've used their services and I would highly recommend them.
During the Wednesday evening on 2 July, our upstairs AC went out. We knew that it had been on its last legs from the prior work done on it. We found Cool Air Mechanical through Costco Thursday afternoon. Cool Air Mechanicalís Rashad came to our home first thing Saturday morning after the 4th, and he was outstanding. He clearly communicated our options and was straight forward with all charges explained, and it was the best quote of two. (Two other vendors returned our call from Thursday on Monday as Cool Air Mechanical was finishing up the installation.) We also had mentioned to Rashad that in all the places in which we have lived across the country, our AC and heat in this home has never evenly cooled or warmed our upstairs. He looked at the duct-work, showed us the problem, and explained the fix. Jorge and Guill installed our new system and fixed our duct-work on Monday working in such heat, especially in the attic. These guys were well spoken, polite, neat, hardworking, efficient, and thorough. They were simply terrific! Additionally 4 days later, we can say that our upstairs has never been so evenly cool. Bottom line is that Cool Air Mechanical's service, product (Lennox), and people are sterling! When the main floor system finally goes and when we finish the basement and are ready for its system, we will not hesitate in reaching out to Cool Air Mechanical.
While walking through Costco one day, I was approached by C.A. who was very friendly. Since I was thinking about changing out our 34 year old furnace and 15 year old Condenser, it was a natural to connect and find out what Cool Air and Costco had to offer. I didn't know anything about Cool Air Mechanical until that day. Next we were called by our Sales Person who just happened to live a few blocks from us. Straight forward sales telling us what we needed and what we really didn't need. On installation day, Marvin and Nima were just great. Each knew their stuff and were additionally very friendly to work with. They were here all day, in the end we installed our second Lennox system in the space of 4 years and are extremely happy with the end result. Cool Air's office workers are also responsive and attentive every time I have called either to confirm schedules or whatever. I expect that my follow on relationship with Cool Air will continue to be a good as the Sales/Installation end of their business. Being connected with Costco also made me feel safe in the choice of an A/C organization I would work with. I knew that Costco would stand by me if I needed them to do so...of course I have not needed any of that so far. The overall deal price was extremely competitive as I did have other quotes to compare against.
Cool Air Mechanical team provided excellent service getting the AC unit installed at my home. Marvin and Tommy did a great job on the installation.
The service was very cool, and cheap. It is a great experience for the price and I highly recommend it.
Cool Air Mechanical is very cool! No sooner did I enter a contract for HVAC service, and paid over $300 for more coolant from another company and contract fee as well as being told nothing was guaranteed on my systems, than 3 days later the fan on one system went out and the compressor on the other system blew at the same time. I called Cool Air Mechanical and John Melton came out. He did such a thorough job analyzing my home as well as suggesting putting in a few dampers to better regulate the flow in my house. He was methodical, very clear in his explanations and gave me a price that couldnít compare to others. The next day the installers were out and worked all through the day into the night installing my new systems. They didnít have time to install the dampers (not essential since it was so late into the evening), but when I called to follow-up they had someone come out the next day! When John showed me the prices on the units, they included a new thermostat that I got a rebate from Georgia Power, and a better filtering system. No add-ons to the original cost of the units. Dealing with the office staff was also a breeze Ė very professional! I highly recommend Cool Air Mechanical.
Found cool air through Costco. It is great service. Worked with service men, Maruin and Nima. They are very professional, efficient.
Our downstairs system was in need of replacing. Cool Air came out on behalf of Costco on a Saturday, very professional, gave us their good Costco affiliated deal and it was installed by Tuesday morning -- zero issues and great customer service!
