After another A/C place wanted to hose me for almost 1,000 for the repair, I decided on a second opinion. I found this place and gave them a try. My A/C was fixed for 91.00 and they detected no... leaks, the other place detected 2 leaks. I am happy with this company and will refer them to my friends. The owner is also very knowledgeable and friendly.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

I have been coming to Cool-It Auto Air for a couple of years now and I'm kinda confused on the last review. Everytime I have come there I have been treated like family. I know that in the winter they ARE closed on Saturday's, but during the summer they accept appointments and are there finishing up work from the weekdays. They have a very friendly staff and keep me up to date with the repairs they are doing. When they tell me a price, that's what it is. No surprises. Since I have been coming there, they have always had a checkout fee and are up front about it. So I'm really confused on the last review.

dropped my business vehicle off at 7 in the morning. Left my name and number and what was wrong. I called them two times during the day. Never got a call back. I asked a friend in the area to check on it at 430. They charged me $55. They never called me to tell me there was a charge to look at it. Needless to say, I could not authorize any repairs because they close at 5. I will never recommend this place to anyone. I will report to the BBB. I have phone records indicating outgoing calls to company without return call. Unreliable. Unprofessional. Poor customer service. They're closed on Saturday's, so some of these reviews are wrong.

This is not simply an opinion but a strong recommendation of this place. I will cite my own example here. The used 2006 car that I bought required new rotors, flushing of all fluids, reverse light, windscreen washing fluid bottle, airbag sensor, full car safety inspection, .... etc. and these guys did all of them including complete interior and exterior detailing of the car for a price so low that I never dreamt off. The car now runs really great. They never try to rip you by suggesting unnecessary repairs. And because I was on an unexpected travel and could not pick up my vehicle after all the work on it has been finished, they even garaged it for me for almost 3 days free of charge. When I found a couple of problems (loosened door handle; a very intricately located faulty third brake light) at the last minute when I went to pick up my car, they also fixed those stuff that took almost 2 hours to fix, free of charge, quoting that they do not accept any money for this work as it was part of their job in giving the car back to me by fixing all the problems. If you can find some place else (which I undoubtedly doubt) with more patience, honesty, workmanship and positive attitude than this place, you are welcome to trust them with your car repairs.

Based on the reviews, I went to this place to get my 2004 Accord Air Conditioner leak fixed. Very soon I realized why everyone has given a 5 star rating. This is probably one of the few places that will not rip you off. Like the other reviews have mentioned this guy is honest, greets you with a smile, has the right kind of equipment, explains clearly what the problem is....quotes a very reasonable price, does a quick and efficient job (of course with a lot of patience...keep in mind detecting a leak is not easy) and guarantees the repair for a year!! What else more you need. This guy does a lot of other jobs as well like fixing power windows, water pump replacement etc. Give it a try, I bet you will not regret.

It was 90 degrees plus - the worst possible time for the A/C in my Volvo to stop working. Our regular garage told us that the compressor was bad - estimated cost to repair was $1200. We found Cool-It Auto Air thru Kudzu.com & they found the problem was NOT the compressor - fixed the A/C for less than 1/3 of the repair cost estimated by our former garage. Very pleased with the great service & the honesty of this company!

I'm glad I had the work done there. I had my air conditioning hose being replaced for much less than competition. Work was done well. More than anything else, it's the honesty of the owner that makes you feel you won't be ripped off

On Friday the weather was a whooping 82 degrees. It was hot! and when I went to turn my air on guess what? It was blowing out hot air. To make a long story short I took my car to Cool-It Auto on Saturday morning. The problem was the mechanic who had replaced by timing belt "forgot" to plug in the AC switch when he was finished. Cool-It was honest enough to let me know what the problem was with very minium cost. I can't thank them enough!

My daughter's heater had quit working. We checked Kudzu.com to find a local mechanic. I found Cool-It Auto Air & Heat and called them. They told us to bring the car in. As it turned out, it was just a hose that needed to be replaced and they were honest enough to tell us that. I wish they did more than heat and air.

They fixed my A/C after other places couldn't find the problem. Also, they fixed itfor less than other places that THOUGHT they could find the problem for less than an expected. They were very professional, informative, and timely. I would recommend them to anyone.

We went in to Cool-it because we thought our compressor was going out. They arrived and found that it was just low on coolant. They filled it and now we are just "chillin". We appreciate their honesty and fast service.

I have been coming to Cool-it for several years, with problems as small as a bad hose to a complete A/C conversion itís always been the same day service with know return visits. Reasonable prices, knowledgeable, and friendly, would and have referred them to all my family and friends. I wouldn't go to anyone else in the Cobb County area.

Fantastic! They meet my needs on an August Saturday morning. I drove from Lithonia to have them look at my '95 Honda Accord. Got in there about 11am got out just after 1pm Saturday (shortly after they had closed). I had a mysterious leak (water) dripping on my passenger floor under the dash. They thoroughly inspected and informed me that there was no major mechanical or electrical problem. "Condensation" was forming because I had developed habit of partially having windows open w/ AC turned on low. Silly as it sounds...it was happy news ..they also thoroughly checked my system for leaks and found none..Topped my refrigerant level off out as I was 6oz low on refrigerant. Total cost $71. Honda Is SOOO COLD NOW U CAN'T STAND TO RUN IT FULL BLAST in 100 degree temps this August...I highly recommend!
