I called on a Sunday, aiming to make an appt for someone to come out during the week and Jonathan said he was going to be in my neighborhood so would happily stop over. SUNDAY! We have a 20 year old high-effeciency furnace that has been acting a little funky, we were also smelling some gas coming from the exhaust. Jonathan came out and walked me through exactly what readings we should expect from the furnace. While he was doing his reading, he patiently explained what we were seeing, what it meant and how it affected the furnace. I was expecting him to try and sell me on a new furnace (which wouldn't have been out of line, given its age) but he said we had at least a year left and was just really honest about the shelf-life (he also quickly fixed what was causing the gas smell). It was the professionalism and honesty that was shown during a small maintenance check that is the reason I'm going to use him come spring to replace the unit (and the ductwork). I find that its really easy to dupe someone when they don't know what they are doing, but the best ones educate and are consultative, and thats what you're getting with Jonathan @ Cool Masters.

I just used Cool Masters for the first time. I am so pleased with them. We will definitely be using them again for all our Heating and Air needs. They were actually able to come the same day I called! The technician was super nice. We were having some issues with one of our units and he fixed it and then I asked him to perform maintenance on both units. Found some small issues that would have caused us bigger issues if went undetected. We have used another company for years but not anymore. So happy with Cool Masters...very professional and very reasonably priced. Thank you!

I had Cool Masters come out and check my 1992 original units. The upstairs furnace had a cracked heat exchanger and was leaking carbon monoxide. Their combustion analyzer made this very evident. It was very clear what needed to be done and they replaced the furnace and AC very quickly and at an good price. Very clean and neat.

i have a package unit that went out completely (no heat or a/c). called out two techs from other companies that both came to the same conclusion, "it's an old unit, it's a waste of money to fix." i was calling around for quotes on a new system and thankfully the first two places wouldn't talk to me!!! then i called Cool Masters and talked to Jonathan to get a quote on a new unit. i described the issues and he immediately claimed, "don't get a new one i can fix it." we set up an appointment for the same afternoon and sure enough he located the problem, fixed it, and viola i have heat now! OH AND I SAVED $4,500 (minimum) not having to buy a new system.

My heat upstairs wouldn't come on last week. I called Cool Masters because they had an excellent reputation according to my research. They came out, explained everything, and didn't try to sell me some expensive service I didn't ask for. Instead, they fixed my problem quickly, then checked the furnace with an amazing tool to see if my furnace was running efficiently. It wasn't. Not only was it costing me money (running too rich), it was creating higher levels of carbon monoxide than it should have, which was really dangerous for my family. They showed me what they were doing every step of the way. After making some adjustments, it was running perfectly. They were very informative, friendly and charged me much less than I was expecting. They really do deserve 5 stars. I highly recommend and will use them again!

I will recommend these guys all day long. We have been customers for over 5 years. Jonathan and his crew have replaced our two HVAC systems and installed closed cell foam insulation in our attic a year ago. We were never given a hard sell, and their work has been outstanding, professional, and punctual.

This is our very first review for any one, These guys were good, our systems are 14 yr old, so they definitely come with their share of parts not working at their 100% efficiency. So we had some water in the filter called cool master and got their maintenance and tune up, they said the water was due to drainage block which they cleared but as I mentioned before the technician said that some parts were not at their very best and for upto 13 seconds into ignition the heater was showing high CO emissions and then went right back to really really low, the technician booked us up with his manager to see if he can solve the problem, so Johnathan showed up and fixed it although the first technician had suggested replacement of entire system Johnathan fixed it and said he wouldn't suugest replacement of system or any parts right now. So long story short, they do their job honestly and don't try to rip you off.

When we decided to build an in-law suite onto our home to take care of my elderly parents, we realized that we also needed to upgrade our current air conditioning system. I got four estimates for the original house and the addition. The other contractors simply quoted prices for larger units. Jonathan was the only one who sat down with us and discussed the problems with our current system and our options for the addition. He created three separately controlled zones which was important because my parents preferred their area much warmer than our area. He also recommended foam insulation for the entire attic space. We added 800 square feet and our electric bill never went up! He also found a contractor to lower our vaulted ceiling by two feet to allow for larger duct work. Also, when I made a poor choice for the location of the outside unit, he moved the unit without complaint. We have only had one service call since completion and it was handled quickly and satisfactorily.

I used these guys a couple of years ago to install new systems. They were great on the front end, but I've had nothing but trouble with the systems and honestly, I wish I could pull them out and go with another model and company. Everytime I call now, I feel bad and they have a constantly rotating staff of technicians. Not sure if they are able to punt their bad reviews, but their long-term service is the worst I've ever seen.

We boast one of the best warranties in the area on both our equipment and labor. With proper maintenance, our systems should net a trouble free life expectancy of 15-20 years. To respond to your other concerns regarding my staff, we certainly have brought on more help as the company has grown through the years however we retain most of the guys long term. 80% of our current staff have been with the company 5+ years. We also do not have the ability to "punt" negative customer reviews in any way. I would hope if a customer has a poor experience with my company, they would reach out with their concerns so I can better the customer service experience for not only the directly affected client, but for all customers. Finally, my dedication to my customers is so solid I have personally missed family functions, dinner, church, even my kids sport events to insure immediate response to a customers comfort issues and concerns. We had Cool Masters replace our A/C unit last year. Last night, something quit working so I called and left a voice mail. I got a call back within 10 minutes and they came to my home to fix it at 9 PM last night! I expected they would come out on Saturday and would have been satisfied with that. I did not ask for them to come out on a Friday night, but clearly, their customers' satisfaction is important to them. I have highly recommended Cool Masters to anyone who has A/C problems! I called yesterday in the early eve. The operator said they'd be out today between 10-1 p.m. - which they were. They didn't try to sell me anything extra or do unrequired repairs. My unit is older & will eventually need to be replaced. I would not hesitate using them to do the job. I was impressed with the workmanship & attitude of the owner, Jonathan, that actually came out to do the service. His associate was just as nice. Again - I'm sure they'll be back.

Cool Masters tech was courteous and professional. Explained every detail of service call as he serviced our HVAC units. Weighed refrigerant in front of us so that we knew exactly how much refrigerant was being added to our AC units before we paid the per pound rate. What we thought was going to be an expensive repair/warranty issue turned out to be a simple, inexpensive valve replacement. What a blessing to have an honest HVAC tech at our home to help us solve this problem. We will definitely call Cool Masters for all of our future HVAC maintenance/repair work. The Best!
