their "comfort specialist" was loud and pushy
I did not have a chance to go beyond talking to their "comfort specialist," but that communication on its own was quite unpleasant. I have talked to 4 specialists by now and talking to their guy was the least pleasant experience. He did not want to listen to me, tried to push me into what he was trying to sell me, not what I needed, talked real loud and acted condescending. Apparently this aggressive technique works on some people (otherwise this kind of salespeople would be weeded out), but it did not work very well on me. RS Andrews' guy was the best so far (knowledgeable, concerned with one's needs, and not pushy). We will see if it will transform into a reasonably priced offer and good quality of service and equipment, but these are my two cents so far.

Thank you for taking the time to post of your experience with us. It is imperative to every company that they receive feedback on how they are doing for customers. However it is also frustrating because screen names are used on this forum. Since I don't know which customer you are, can't speak with the consultant that you spoke with about the way he came across to you. We definitely don't want potential or current customers to feel like we are condescending and pushy. I would really appreciate it if you would give me a call. I would be more than happy to get another comfort consultant to speak with you. We are very dedicated to making sure we take good care of our customers and we often have excellent savings on equipment. We also have our spectacular lifetime parts and labor on our Trane full systems we sell. I would hate for you to miss out on that because we made a bad first impression. Not The Quality I Expected
Bought a new furnace in 2011 with extended service contract. The unit failed to come on during the recent cold snap. Coolray sent a technician to check it out and he found the control board on the furnace failed. Apparently, only parts are warranteed, not labor, so it will end up costing us out of pocket. I thought Coolray installed quality systems - I should have called Shumate.

Thank you for taking the time to post about your experience with us. I hate to hear that you had a problem with your new furnace so soon after install. I'm not sure what type of equipment we put in for you, but we primarily deal in Trane equipment. Trane has been rated as the top of the line in HVAC equipment, but even the best occasionally has a problem before it should. Thats why they have the parts warranty. A one year labor warranty is pretty standard as well. I really would like to speak with you so I can first look up your file and make sure you were given the correct information, and then see if we can come to a resolution that makes you feel better about Coolray. Couldn't ask for more
The service technician that came to our home from Coolray was very nice and knowledgeable. He was able to quickly find the problem and fix it on the first visit.

Mr. Hayes is a man of his word and should be sought out to address any concerns you have with this company. He resolved my concerns professionally and expeditiously.
