I would not do business with this company ever again. I had a carburetor "replaced" at end of last season. It lasted 1 mowing. When I brought it back beg. of mowing season this yr., they said I needed a tune-up, and they wouldn't charge for carburetor. That was nice, I guess. After dropping $120 on tune-up, mower didn't work when I got it back. The string also broke bc I was trying to start it and it wouldn't start. Picked up the mower and told them I shouldn't have to pay for string bc this was my 3rd time bringing in mower and I pulled it hard bc it wasn't working. Lady on the phone was very rude to me before I even got there and then proceeded to get in an argument with the mgr., or boss, as he told me I had "old gas in mower." I told him that wasn't possible as I just filled up a brand new gas can. He said it was old gas and then stated I lied about it not having oil. i told him I added the proper oil bc they forgot. He said and I quote "that is not true we have never done that in 30 yrs.". I said "no on has ever made a mistake and not added oil?" and he said f5#$& no. Have no idea how they stay busy.

Bought a used self propelled Honda lawn mower from Corley's Engine and Mower Repair mid April. A mower just like the one I've used for years. Take it home and start to mow the back yard. Short Version: Self propel feature only worked on concrete without the clippings bag on back. Problem is I don't usually mow concrete. Put it on grass and add a little clippings to the bag & you have one NON SELF PROPEL Lawnmower. I return to Corley's and asked for my money back. "We can't do that" Huh? It was a great mower yesterday when I was buying it, but today they won't take the 'great mower" back. It's suppose to work this way he tells me... I check with Honda, nope... the self propel is BROKEN;not working correctly. "Take it back to where you bought it says Honda Customer Service." Three trips back within 21 days, disrespectful and condescending to me. Their Last trip, I ask to speak with owner/manager. I wait close to 90 minutes before its clear he has no intention of speaking with me. I again ask the status of mower & to speak with the owner. A mechanic informs me they don't want to sell me a piece of junk; so he will rebuild the mower and call me when it's ready. That was May 24th. Its June 22 and still no mower and no communication from Corley's. Its clear to me, no money and no lawnmower. I spent $250 for the mower, I have spent $500 to have my lawn mowed while CORLEY's "rebuilds the mower" and am still paying to have my lawn mowed! I wish I had seen Kudzu review BEFORE.

This is an old time repair shop. Old saws on display and lawnmowers everywhere. Service was matter of fact, but Iwas greeted promptly and gave the young man instructions for my Toro Mower repair. I was told two to three weeks turn around for this repair. I was notified after 13days that my mower was ready. It came out mower came out perfect even washed and clean! They even found used drive tires to replace broken ones at a good savings. The mower runs and cuts beautifully. I will return to this interesting and quality shop.

These people are rude on the phone and in person even worse. They tried to charge me more than agreed and when I decided not to get my mower fixed here and asked for my old mowers back they had already taken my good parts off and threw on someone elses older stuff back on. When I questioned them they said well we dont find all your parts we just put back on whatever we find. This was all done without my permission to proceed. Terrible and rude and they stole good parts from me. Dont USe them ever.

Took them 2 weeks to fix my mower because of the specific parts and I understand that I am not their only customer. Maybe the impatient dingleberry above should realize that she/he isn't anyone important and should wait just like everyone else. This is a very honest shop. Will use again if needed.

Horrible service. Took them over a month to make the repair. I had to call to get them to push it along then they wanted to charge me more than what they quoted me to begin with. I will be letting everyone know how bad they are.
