This review is about the food and service only! I would have had to give them a much lower rating on the ambiance. I had the catfish and my husband had the country fried steak. Both were excellent. You also get four vegetables and cornbread or a roll all for five bucks. You heard right. The catfish was excellent and a nice large fillet. The country fried steak was very tasty and quite large. They only make four veggies per day, but you get a smallish portion of each. All were tasty, in a southern cooked-thoroughly way. The only thing that was bad was the corn muffin. I will order rolls next time. Our waiter was as nice as can be. We got out of there for under thirteen dollars including drinks. We will definitely go back, but probably for take out.

Although the building looks like a converted trailer, this place is one of the best "Meat & 3's" in the area. The food is a great value and the service is fantastic. We don't eat here often, but the staff always recognizes us and even remembers our names! Try the country fried steak or the meatloaf. Avoid the green beans if you're watching your sodium intake. Greens are just like G'Ma used to make...Love this place!
