Country Grapevine

I have been going to this shop for several years. I have always noticed how the woman owner can be a bit rude or seems like she hates life or people or something.but never gave it any thought really( The husband"" and daughter - very nice! ). Except for the one day this past fall when we went there to get some pumpkins. My 10 year old daughter was looking at the goards /pumkins etc.and went in the one ""greenhouse"" where the door was WIDE open with more inventory - has stuff in there often that is for sale also many times we go..and all of a sudden my husband and I heard the owner scream - ""GET OUTTA THERE""!!!!! I looked up and realized she was talking to my daughter! I looked at her real nasty - and said - maybe you should put a sign or keep the door closed if you don't want anyone in therecause I was about to go in there next too! I continued to shop and still buy my things I had picked outbut my husband and I said after we left that we should have left everything there and walked out! If she hates the business and/or people.she should close shop!!! She must dislike kids for sure!!!!...

I took a look at this just to see others reviews and low and behold someone else found the owner(female) to be rude.. I have been here many times and found the owner to be very rude and seemingly bothered by having business, which is strange in this economy for a business selling these types of items.. Next problem Ive always had with them is claiming to be a crafts dealer but alot of times Ive found the made in China stickers are still in place.. Crafts and decor.. .especially those of Americana/country living should be made by craft folks,, not sweat shops in china. Then there was this weekend,, when my long term girl friend and neighbor went to meet my what I am sure to be my future mother-in-law for a day trip to the grapevine.. I need to mention ""mom"" has a toy poodle sufffering from epileptics and cant be left alone for long and is cared for beyond belief.. anyway thepoodle always travels with mom and did so this day after leaving the barn and looking at some outdoor plants, the poodle(who was left in the car with the windows down on the upper 60 degree day) began ""yipping"" now that he sees beloved mom.. The rude owner of this business, who happen to be standing near my girlfriends neighbor and starts bad mouthing mom, for abusing this dog and how she hates people like that and needs that dog to stop ""yipping"". then realizing she is complaining to the wrong person, doesnt she approach mom and tell her how bad of a person she is and how bad she treats her dog Now that mom(elderly and retired) is crying and way beyond upset she leaves, and actually gets lost on the way home from being so upset about what was said to her trust me, this dog is treated better then most peoples kids and is loved beyond belief Any way, I , my family, her family , anyone in the neighborhood, or any of my friends or co-workers will never return to this mouse infested, america hurting, china supporting ""business"" again.. I have made it my personal quest to let ev...
