We have had nothing but good things to say about Courtnay and Rowe. The quality of teachers is unmatched by any of their competitors (we tried several different companies before finding Courtnay and Rowe) by a landslide. Our teacher, Belinda, is fantastic and has sparked an enthusiasm in music in my children that I never thought possible.

We recently moved from Buckhead to Alpharetta, and Marilyn (runs the business) bent over backwards to find a way for my son to keep his same teacher at a time that worked for both of us, even though we're 45 minutes from our old house. Courtnay and Rowe's customer loyalty is in a class of its own.

We found our match! Courtnay and Rowe has incredible teachers that keep my children passionate about music! They anticipate their music (piano and voice) lessons and are excited to practice. They keep the fun in the music and allow for my children to enjoy this wonderful extracurricular activity! It's nice for my girls to finally have music lessons that allow them to learn at their own pace, and fully master the material before moving onto other material. Courtnay and Rowe has it all--The convenience of in home lessons combined with impeccable teachers and passion about the music!!!

I know from personal experience that this company is a sham. They asked teachers if they had studied any other instrument other than their primary one and even if only played once, they would ask you to teach that instrument! Alot goes in to coddling the students, with birthday cards, sweets, holiday stickers etc. but not alot into training or checking credentials of teachers.Their mottow is FUN and not progress. The high brow front they put on with a fancy recital at the end of the year is to appear to be some great teaching institution. I worked for them and saw this first hand with other teachers. I would check out other in home teaching services that are more legit and less phony.

After reading this review, you can certainly understand why we no longer have this person associated with our company. We insist on having teachers with positive attitudes and that are great role models to represent our fabulous company - and that's the only kind of person we would want to be around our students and their families. Obviously, we felt this bitter ex-teacher was not worthy of the honor of servicing our client base.
It is correct that our motto is fun (stickers, birthday cards and all!) and thankfully, it has made us the largest in-home music company in Atlanta, with word of mouth being our best source of advertising. With the pressure that children have with school and sports, parents appreciate the lack of pressure with music lessons, by allowing the student to progress only at their own pace and truly enjoy their music. We have many students that have been awarded music scholarships because they fell in love with their instrument and were allowed to excel on their own terms.
Please check our website (www.courtnayandrowe.com) for local Moms who leave genuine feedback and are not afraid to leave their real names for all to see.
We have worked with Courtnay & Rowe for five years now and are so proud to endorse them. Our teacher, Bradly, has brought the kids such a great love of guitar that we can't imagine them taking them anywhere else. Our hat is off to their brand of instruction. They have made it fun, the kids practice, and we are enjoying hearing music in our house everyday. AAAAAA++++
