A Great Place to Live, 8/11/2011

I recently signed a lease to begin my 4th year here at the Courtyards. As I checked on the Courtyards website I noticed two negative comments, in 08 and the second in 11. I have some observations... about these comments.\r My first reaction was to check the website to make sure I was on the right one. People in this day and age get caught up in a sense of entitlement based on their expectations and these two responders fit perfectly in that genre . \r Here s my response. I live directly across from the pools. All I hear is an occasional squeal from children playing. In three years security has handled parties very well, finding that the offenders were not even from our complex.\r People with pets keep them on a lease, pick up after them and the fiercest pet is a little Chihuahua. My neighbors are young professionals and are great! Being older, I appreciate the way they look after my well being. People who live here are friendly and responsive to greetings.\r And, speaking of responsive, the management and staff of The Courtyards are the very best. I have lived in five Tulsa apartments and this one is the best by far. When I have needed something I have received a response the same day and the issue is resolved ASAP. I am glad the maintenance staff has a key to my apartment and the office has a key also. Everyone employed here is polite and quick to answer questions. In the last three years I have had two health issues. All of the staff has met my family members and in one instance the maintenance staff literally carried me out to waiting transportation.\r This complex is not a place for negative people. If a positive person of any age is looking for a comfortable place to live THIS IS IT!\r I plan to live here as long as my health permits. I am one happy resident.\r\rJohn C. Peterson

My experience @ the courtyards., 3/12/2011

Only move here if you are single and don't mind annoyances.First, the staff. They do a pretty good job, except for the fact that they have a key to your apartment. The front office on the other hand... don't. They don't even know what is going on in their own apartments. They say they have a dog policy, but I've seen a full grown pit bull dog in these apartments and a German Shepard. You'll know when its spring/summer when you see the cops coming over, telling the people to keep the noise down. And don't even get me started on the pool. There are a bunch of drunks there.I mean really, don't you have a job to go to. There are cute girls, but they're unnoticeable because of the older women who wish they were still young taking all of the sunlight, soaking it all in there leathery skins,GROSS!There is also some kid who throws rocks and cusses all the time.IF you come here you will meet him, he will be the kid on your porch when you get home from work. There is NO such thing as parking unless you live on the outsides of the complex. They have no assigned parking spaces, so people will have 3 cars 2 of which won't be running, and if they have people visiting, you will be parking on the outside of the apartments and will have to walk out of your way because someone who doesn't live there will be parked in front of your apartment. And your mail...GOOD LUCK! I get mail that isn't mine all the time and someone else seems to get mine.Trust me the price you pay a month is not worth it.If they try to get you to do a automatic rent pay from your checking account you will be charged $12. Oh yeah, there is some nut job who will be by the volleyball court drinking and listening to the radio, he's cool as long as you keep your distance.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!

If you are planning to move into the Courtyard Apartments I and my family would strongly urge you not to move into this apartment complex. The apartment staff is the worst and not to mention to the most inconsiderate group of ladies. When I called to have maintainence done, I had to call more than once and it took almost two to three weeks before it was completed. On some occasions it wasn't even completed. The bigggest problem we had was we were robbed ironically the same day we asked for maintanence and after we had told the apartment office that we were breaking our lease early and moving out. Many vehicles have also been broken into in the parking lot, once again, the apartment staff will not do anything about it because they say they are not aware of the situation. Our neighbors have even had problems with their apartment doors being left open by maintanence staff. Finally, when they told the apartment manager, they were told it was their fault and that they may have just left the door unlocked. Our neighbor said he always checked his doors before he left because he is OCD and makes sure it was locked. He finally had the key locked in the manager's office and since then has had no problems with people getting into his apartment and leaving the doors unlocked. ONCE AGAIN.........DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX. STAFF IS RUDE AND DO NOT CARE.
