Yesterday,10/27/2010, I woke up to a totally different COX DVR. This is a example of a company without a brain. I now have a annoying video delay while surfing. Recording is almost impossible without constant baby sitting.It is harder to navigate and you can lose a scheduled program with extra time by simply scheduling another program during said extra time. You are forced to add way more time to some programs to get all the content, thus using up more space and may cause conflict with other recordings. No one can tell me that anyone at Cox properly tested this update. This will cost Cox, I've already started looking for alternatives.

to start out with i never wanted to have business with cox because if you sign up with any service installation they dont come out right away, usually there is a 2-3 day scheduled time, but to be honest this is worth comparing to freaken QWEST services, qwest will come out right away but they suck in business, lack of customer service, not friendly at all. i higly recommend anyone to suck up the wait time and go with cox communication,it makes sense why there is a wait time, because everyone wants the best of service from COX. cox communications is the friendliest in customer service and they will work with you no matter what! just call them up and explain your issue and trust me, you will get the result you want from COX. way to go guys!!!! i will never switch to another company, i rather not have service than choose someone else, like QWEST. yuk! COX is the best forever!

I can't say enough bad things about Cox! They are honestly the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Cox recently missed 4, thats right...4 appointments to add an additional line to my current service! No phone call to let me know, just didn't show up. After the customer retention department gave me an incentive to stay with them and promised to personally handle my account after the second time, they missed 2 more appointments and the representative wouldn't even return my call! Terrible customer service, the absolute worst! I am taking all of my current services elsewhere. Notice allot of the good reviews on here are from employees....hmmmm a little biased? Use any alternative you can other than using Cox!

Cox is by far the best in the business. Sure, they have their issues at times but tell me a company that doesn't. Anybody that tells you that Qwest, Directv, Dish, etc... is better than Cox just doesn't understand technology or service (JD Powers ranks them ahead of all these companies year over year). Cox is charitable in the community too. Thanks Cox.

I've yet to have that feeling that I will be receiving a "pink slip" since I've joined Cox Communications. The company really cares about their employees in every aspect. Yes it is also true that we have the best internet, phone and video service and quality in town!

They were quick to come out an install my services (high speed internet/phone/High Def Video) and demonstrated how to use them all. They did a follow up call about a week later to make sure I was still satisfied and offered to answer any questions that I had. Their internet service is really fast, the High Def seems to be sharper than my old dish and all the services are reliable and cheaper than my old combo of qwest/direct tv.
