Worse Tech Support Service, 8/16/2012

cliffnote verison: took them 48 just to come out and fix an issue that was only 10 minutes to do online tech couldnt help and assumed wrong my modem was broke. i missed my online presenation that was... due for class that day virtual and my class assignment. cox has no urgency for important issues.

The best cable company around, 10/29/2010

I simply went online which was a cinch to order , the site was very very user friendly and they call the very same day to confirm your order, they dont try to sell you anything you dont want or need... which to me is such a releif because allot of companies out there are there to get what they can out of you . I had to make a trip to the actual retail store to make the payment for the modem as soon as I arrived in the door I was greeted by a smiling face who was ready and eager to help , The customer service was top of the line. These days the way that some companies choose to deal with their customers really grinds my gears.. When the payment was made they gave me my equipment in a handy little bag that can be used again and again for shopping or whatever so it was very evironmentally friendly which is also a huge plus. Our internet and cable where on by the same day 2 hours after I left the store. I was amazed by the quickness and quality of their service and would recommend them to anyone who is on a budget or even someone who is not their customer service is worth a million to me. I give them an A+ Thank you cox for making my cable buying experience one that I will and can brag about

it is bad

I was paying $160.00 a month for highspeed internet 1 dvr box and 1 had dvr box i switched to a satle-light co. and now I spend only $60 a month

Terrible service!!

I have high speed internet,and digital cable with hbo and cinemax. I pay 115.00 per month for the crummiest tv i have ever watched. I have "pixelizing" constantly. i call to get them to fix it,but i have to be here for the "service call" from 8 am to 5 pm. I work and have to to pay for 115$ in unwatchable tv. everyday i have to call and get we have a outage in your area,seems like the same time of day too( 2-5pm everyday) then,if i dont be here for service call,they wont check even the outside(i never have moved or changed my connections or tv location in 4 years of living here) i get charged 75$ for them to do nothing. I have to be heere to "make sure the equiptment is working" it is,but the stuff coming to it it broken!!! tyhis is dumb. I cant get off time enough to be here,am sinigle, can get called in at a moments notice,and cant afford a day off. i am going to cut off service and get satelite. i know for a fact this is not as frustrating.
