Before I moved to Gainesville, I thought that Comcast was the worse cable company around. Little did I know that Cox would be even worse. Where to begin? Their cable services are horribly overpriced and restrictive. Their dvr/cable box has an incredibly archaic interface and is very slow. They don't offer HBO by itself like Comcast, you have to get digital cable first. It just feels like everything from this place is designed to nickel and dime you. Since they're a monopoly, they can get away with all this. And don't even think about going to one of their stores for help. The lines are absurd and the staff are neither knowledgable about the product they're selling or willing to be helpful and work with you. Try their 800 number instead, but be prepared for more long waits. Again, monopoly. Why do they need to work any harder if they're the only game in town? Also, their cable Internet is slow and cuts out fairly often, even after multiple calls to tech support. I wish that they treated their customers as well as they apparently treat their employees. Cable companies are Slowly becoming as obsolete as landline telephones. I definitely won't miss them if they're all as bad as Cox

I love everything about Cox, but if i could choose one thing about them it would be the family atmosphere. This is the only company that i've worked for that actually cares for its employees. From the benefits,to the bar-b-cue's, Cox does their best to make sure that we know they are here for us!! I Love Cox Communitions!!!! p.s. We provide reliable services at great prices!!!
