I have been with COX for the last 10 years, when ever I call with a problem the issue gets resolved immediately. **One thought maybe it how you say it not what you say. You get more with sugar than salt.**

After paying Cox off a past due amount Cox kept my money and shut off my service anyway. Because they never send a bill, and the amount they charge varies from month to month, I guessed how much I owed and I was $10 off. That became $33 and at the end of the month $98.20. I paid $100 and then they shut off my service and cancelled my account.

I recently relocated to Las Vegas from Los Angeles, and was a dedicated Direct TV customer. I decided to call Cox, as we are renting and needed to go through the long process of HOA approval if we wanted to stay with Direct TV. Beware- The service representatives tell you what you want to hear just to get you to switch-- I was quoted a package price of 65.00 per month for my channel preferences, two boxes, and DVR box. I asked for the Center Ice package to be added to my services. The installer was to come that day between 1-5. No installer-- I call, apparently I was wrong;they say it was scheduled for the following day from 1-3. Um, ok.... Installation went fine. However, two days later, no Center Ice package channels. I call-th I had never ordered the package. Um, ok.... At this time, I am wary- and rightfully so. I ask for a confirmation of my monthly rate. Oh, that is 90.00 they say. However, new customers from Direct TV are to be given free DVR service as a "thank you" for transferring-but I (the rep) can't do that for you. After going through SIX different representatives (even one in Baton Rouge that claimed I did not hold an account) and one arrogant, smarmy supervisor, I was told that I could not have possibly been told that quoted price, and that there is no such thing as free equipment- that I can't have been told that. Um, ok.... I told them at that point that I would be canceling effective Friday due to non-disclosure of fees and add ons.

I've phoned Cox several times and always get treated with courtesy and respect. All employees I've dealt with are very helpful and make sure your completely satisfied before ending the call. If I could change one thing as far as Cox the company I would love them to offer better priced "movie channel" package deals otherwise I'm a satistied customer.

I moved to las vegas from indiana. I wasnt familiar with the cable companies in this city so i chose cox. I figured how bad could it be. Well needless to say it was very bad. To begin with said they would ship me the digital box for my television and i could hook it up myself well that is a new concept to me. I thought cable companies has installation techs to do them things. I had to wait all day on the ups guy. Well i missed him and then they refused to pick the box back up without charging me a service fee. When i go to move out and cancel my service. i tell them a date to shut it off and then also ask them when they plan on picking up the equipment they tell me they can pick it up on wednesday the 20th. Well i say fine what window time should i wait. They tell me it could be any time between 8am to 7pm. Hardly a window of time. This is unacceptable its there equipment do they want it back or not. I say whatever and agree to it. The day comes and i wait all day finally i call around 5pm. The rep. says the order wasnt put in for pickup just cancelation. I am mad at this point and want to speak to a manager. She says that the manager is busy and he will have to call me back this isnt acceptable either i wait on the phone. what crap!

I've been a customer of Cox (Prime Cable before the buyout) for over 20 years. I have used their Internet services for as long as it has been available and I am finally fed up - WAY PAST DUE! I am switching to Embarq for my DSL - faster speed for less and switching to DirecTV for my television services.

As a new resident to Las Vegas, I decided to go with cable instead of satellite. I am sure glad i did. Cox was great - they showed up on time for the install and the tech did a great job installing all my outlets. Thanks Cox!

Cox is overrated and over priced. Don't be fooled by the bundle prices because it is not a true discount. I had a bundle service and the price did not stay the same. I switched to EMBARQ and love the deal that they actually offered me. I had more trouble with unclear picture with Cox than with satellite. So please don't let Cox feed you that mess that the have a true clear picture, and that they have the fastest high speed internet, I can't tell the difference from my EMBARQ speed at all. So research before going with cox

Cox offers cable, hsd and phone services. You can bundle three services on one bill, it is so convenient. The service offered at cox are exceptional I have not had any problems with any services offered. Cox strives to be the most trusted provider of communications and entertainment services in America.

Cox is the best in Vegas for cable, internet & phone service. The staff is always friendly & very helpful. My service has never been interrupted in the year I have had it unlike dish that goes out every time it gets windy.

We have had Cox cable for years and just recently added our internet and phone service. The bundle package is convient and cheaper. Both times that I have had to have servicemen out to the house they have arrived on time. So far we have been happy with the service.

I moved here from San Diego. Of course I'm spoiled with Time Warner Cable. No such thing as great customer service from a cable company as they rate up there with going to the DMV. BUT - technology is important to me! What a joke! The DVR sucks. The internet REALLY sucks since they bounce back just about anything "deemed too large". Never had that happen before. I'm on my way to satellite - but keep hoping they will upgrade their channels and DVR technology. Really don't want that dish on my house. And I keep hoping someone will come along to take away the monopoly Cox has in Vegas. But I realize I'm dreamin'.... You have to see SD Time Warner to know what I'm talking about. Anyhow Cox rates an F in everything - if you are new hear go straight to satelite.
