The staff and doctors at Crabapple Animal Hospital treat my dog and cats with such caring and concern! They offer the best medicine and surgery, and always explain and discuss options for my pets' care. They treat me with respect, and make sure my questions are answered, and that my pets are as happy and healthy as they can be. Give them a try. You will be pleasantly surprised by such a wonderful vet clinic experience.

I constantly got sent reminder notices for 'optional' tests/work to be done on my dogs (fecal, dental, bloodwork) but finances do not always allow for these 'nice to do' test work. However, I got given an ultimatum - either have certain tests done or my dogs were not welcome in this clinic. I provide monthly worming/heartguard tabs & all the stuff needed to keep my dogs in good health, & when I did get tests done after this ultimatum (and $$$$ later), all proved negative as I knew they would. NO ONE should be told to get tests done just for the benefit of paying MONEY MONEY MONEY!!! They got sour when I got the dogs yearly rabies/Parvo/Etc shots done by PAWS VETCARE who work cheaply out of pet centers/farm centers & I didn't use their clinic. They were MUCH cheaper for same shots this clinic would have given. I have since found another Vet!!

I went to Crabapple on the recommendation of several of the people at my barn. At the time, my dog had Stage 5 lymphoma, and was in the process of chemotherapy at UGA. Crabapple worked with the UGA vet hospital to make sure my dog had the best of care that went with UGA's protocols (as chemotherapy can be hard on the animals). They are fantastic. We have since taken all of our other dogs (we have 4) to them, as well as our 3 cats. All of whom love them! When it came time to put our dog with cancer down, Crabapple handled it with the best of grace. They let us be there when they put him to sleep, and spend as much time in the room with him afterwards. There was absolutely no rush. They even sent a very heartfelt thank you card the next day. The card was written by our doctor. They also took a paw print for us to keep. They were very kind, consoling, and helpful. They have seen us multiple times with out appointments, and on short notice for our pets and they always return our phone calls, and try their best for our pets. They are a little bit pricey, but it is well worth it for the peace of mind and kindness.

We have been using Crabapple Animal Hospital for almost 20 years. They were very helpful when we had to put our cat to sleep and help us locate a affordable phyician to fix my dogs broken leg.

I have used a few different vet clinics over the last few years, and none of them come close to this clinic in terms of service. I pass several others on my way to take my pets to this one, but know they get the best care here. They call and check up on animals as well, and really care about the well-being of your pets.

I have four animals and would NOT take them anywhere else for their care. There is a personal touch at Crabapple Animal Hospital that I haven't seen with any other Vet. If one of my animals is sick a member of the staff will call the day after the office visit to check on the animal. I'm notified well in advance when my pets are due for their inoculations. Recently I boarded my animals here and was happy to learn that when they wouldn't eat, the staff gave them a different food to boost their appitites.

I have been dealing with this Animal Hospital for 7 years. I have had a dog in for emergancy services, a dog that had a litter of 7 puppies in addition to all the normal maintainance and care that an animal owner has to handle. I have always been treated with respect and like I was one of the family. I highly recommend this facility to anyone that wants excellent service with a wonderful group of professionals.

This animal hospital has a wonderful vet. The employees are friendly, and the services are efficient. We have taken our pet there and have had a great visit.

We took our dog who had been run over to this place because they were kind enough to see us when three other vets closer, would not. Started out good for a bad situation but fell apart. First foot in the door was asked for my credit card as dog was taken to examining room. I wanted to be in the room but was not allowed. I wanted to limit the work done on him as he was quite critical in my view and was prepared to put him down. Without asking, many proceedures were performed and then I was asked what I would like to do; put him down in the end (45 min) later, cost me $500! and no room for discussion. Not the way to do business in my mind. The follow up sympathy card was salt in my bank acct's wound. Isolated incidence to learn from and not meant to be a reflection on their expertise or abilities. I am not a regular customer needless to say!

The level of care given by the personnel at Crabapple Animal Hospital is wonderful. In particular, Donna the receptionist and Dr. Barton are wonderfully compassionate and go the extra mile.

I took my dog to the Dentist that works out of this office and had a very bad experience with the staff at Crabapple Animal Hospital. The office staff at Crabapple Animal Hosptial was extremely rude and had no compassion at all. My pets are very special to me. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business at all.

We have 3 large dogs and the staff at this vet are very caring and attentive. We've been with them for over 5 years now and think they're great. I'd highly recommend them to anyone who loves their pet!
