Crawlspaces.com is fantastic. In 2005 I had my crawlspace waterproofed / encapsulated. All the basement musty smell and odor are gone and the crawl space is as dry as a bone 7 years later. The service was outstanding and the best money I've ever spent on my home. If you have a wet or musty crawlspace - these are the guys to call!

After getting several estimates to solve the ick factor of my dirt crawlspace/potential basement, I had to go with Jim Briley! With an odd space that slopes from a 3 foot crawlspace on one end of the house to almost an 8 foot room on the other, I needed more than just encapsulation. In only two days, he and his crew (a very friendly bunch) turned the space into a clean, white crawlspace that joins a usable clean, white basement area with a concrete floor! As he is apparently a jack of all trades, he was also able to adjust plumbing, gas lines, a/c ductwork and framing to turn a hallway closet into the interior entrance to the "new basement". After 8 years of dreaming, We can now enter the space from within the house, and are planning to use it for daily uses(instead of just storage)! He is honest, fair, affordable, and accommodating! We love Jim (and crew)!

Before my crawlspace met Jim Briley it was full of water, sopping wet earth, cracked blocks, hills, valleys, and trenches. The exposed footing was jagged and uneven like an untamed mountain range.
I called 6 Atlanta area waterproofers for quotes, and crawlspaces.com was not only the most competitively priced but Jim was also the most non b.s. down to earth one of all, and even gave me some good sensible tips for my property during the estimate. He and his crew completed the job in a very timely manner while properly locating and grading the drain pipe, as well as clearing off the wild footing and leveling out the entire space. The new sump pit is deep and located precisely. Encapsulation was well beyond code requirements and turns the crawlspace into the exact opposite of what it used to be; a friendly, welcoming, easy to work in environment, and most importantly, dry.
All waterproofers offered the same solution: an interior drain pipe system to a sump pit and encapsulation to prevent mold growth. If you do your research you will see why: it works. By all means, get your other estimates, but do not hesitate to go with crawlspaces.com because the quality of work is outstanding.

Slowskys. That TV commercial with the turtle family identifies us very accurately. It took us over five years to figure out the right thing to do with our cruddy crawlspace - the one we would never acknowledge to anyone (except the termite guy) that it even existed.
But after we finally made that decision, ZIP! It took Jim Briley and his team just a few workdays over the course of a week or so to change that cruddy crawlspace into our favorite show-and-tell for our friends and neighbors.
Jim and his teams (he has concrete specialists and he has foam insulation specialists) know what they are doing, and they have obvious pride in doing their work well. Very well. We are very pleased not only with the end product – which meets all expectations – but also with the manner in which they accomplished their work, which exceeded our expectations. They were all very professional, cooperative, and friendly. Early on, while they were clearing debris from the cruddy crawl, it very pleasantly startled us to hear actual laughter coming from below the house.
Jim’s team changed it so that it’s no longer our “cruddy crawlspace”, but an integral – and equal and worthy - component of our home.

Crawlspaces.com recently turned our nasty, smelly, 1920's dirt crawl space into a beautiful concrete mini basement/cellar. My husband and I are so pleased with the work that was done. The whole experience was very pleasant from beginning to end. Jim Briley and all of the guys who work with him are great. It takes a lot of skill to do the kind of work they did for us. We asked a lot of questions, and Jim was always happy and eager to answer them. He did a wonderful job of communicating with us. We highly recommend this company. The work they did under our house solved so many problems. We used to have a musty, moldy, dark, ugly dirt crawl space with a damp dugout area for the furnace/water heater under our bedroom. No matter how much I cleaned the living space of our house, I always felt like we were living in the crawl space because I could feel it and smell it in the whole house. Also, we desperately needed a good place to store things.

We now have a clean, concrete crawl space with a large area (twice as big as it originally was) that is dug out to head height, with concrete floors and walls that come up to the height of the rest of the crawl space. The before and after pictures are amazing! Now we love going down there. Actually, when all the work was completed, my husband and I set up a little table and chairs and ate pizza down there to celebrate. We thought, "Wow! This turned out better than we ever could have imagined."
