Nothing criminal about this place
I love these guys (and girls). Since Tower Records closed a few years ago (RIP) there isn't really anyplace in town to find records, comics, toys, magazines and movies in one handy location. Criminal has it all, and a really good variety of it. I can find mainstream stuff and independant stuuf that I don't find in toy stores or Best Buy and places like that. Shane and Zano are always helpful, really cool guys! These guys are a big part of the independant record store day that takes place all ver the country, also, so I like to support them whenever I can. I like that I can actually find obscure stuff and the staff is eager to help me with it. I'm not a fan of ordering music over the internet, and i hate getting that look from clwerks at chain stores when I ask about things they don't carry.Overall, this is my favorite entertainment store in Atlanta, and it gives me agood excuse to kill a day in Litte 5 (hello, Vortex!). I even got to meet Jamie Hewlett there once and got him to sign my Gorillaz toys - BONUS!!!

Best place for music in Atlanta
Best place to find those hard to find cds. They have a great selection. The only downside is how they are arranged, you have to wait for an employee to pull the cd out for you.

Later hours and energetic vibe are a plus
There are many times when I've wanted to get a certain record, but it's after 7pm so most of the indie record shops are closed but not Criminal. Open 'til 9 M-Th, and 'til 10 Fri & Sat, I give them many points for staying open longer. I love their manic selection of so many things in one small space, too tons of CDs and a now-large selection of vinyl, plus they're the only indie record store in town with a big magazine rack. Sometimes I'll go in for nothing more than that. I like all the listening stations too....

more records than comics but worth the trip
if you do not live in little five points and shop in Eric;s store you are really missing out. what they don't have comics wise, they can get. ask Lillian for it. this place has at least 90 per cent less nerds than any other comic shop in town. I swear and I should know. be sure to get on their mailing list so you won;t miss out on signings and free concerts in store.

'Zines galore!
If you like some odd ball magazines, Criminal is sure to have it. I haven't bought much music here but if you want to know what is happening in popular culture, you are sure to find some periodical that covers it here....
