So I just tried to call and set up a time to go look at the facility before I take my dog as we've never been there before. The lady (Ellen), told me that they are only open to the public on Monday-Friday from 8AM-12PM and 2PM-6PM and they are closed to the public on Saturday and Sunday. Then she proceeded to tell me that they may not be there during those hours also because of dropping kids off at school, picking kids up from school, taking kids to ball practice (then she proceeds to giggle). I asked her, so how do people come take a look at your facility if they aren't able to get off work during that time and she said that you can't. This place is not accommodating to their client base at all! Most of us love our pets closely behind our kids and I wouldn't drop my kid off at a day care without taking a look at it first! If they are not willing to accommodate their client base, honestly, they need to reassess why they are in business!

Began using Critter Country Club due to its convenient location. My dogs seem to love it there. When we pull in the driveway they know where they are and are anxious to get out of the car and inside the office. They eagerly go back to the kennel area. They have even made friends with the resident cat, Johnny. The kennel is located atop a large acreage tract within a equestrian/residential area. The owner lives nearby and is a courteous business woman and animal lover. The other lady (owner or devoted employee?) is also top notch.

Critter Country Club cares for your pets like you do. The indoor outdoor runs are fantastic for our big dogs. No, they don't always answer the phone, but they always call back. No, their hours are not the best. But we have one old dog who needs special care and they go out of their way for her. My 2 younger dogs are a handful and they take great care of them. If you care more about your dogs experience while you are gone than about a little inconvenience for you, then this is the place. I've used them for more than 16 years, and it has always been great.

We board 3 year old Husky and 5 months old German Shephard and we have made a great choice picking Critters! Husky loved it from the first moment and my puppy was a little nervous at the biginning but both ladies made him feel comftable and loved so when we picked our dogs up they were absolutly happy and healty. And what most important NO FLEACE!!! The place doesn't look like 5 star hotel but this is a kennel for dogs - it looks like it supose to!!! i liked both ladies - they have a simple love for animals, very knowledgable, followed directions regarding feeding and medications and very honest - had no problem with telling us if our puppy made a mess etc. That is what we appreciate!!! Great place - would recommend 100%

Staff was unfriendly and not helpful. Very limited pick up times. I showed up during regular pickup times and no one was there. My dog did seem to like staying at the place. Perhaps, they like dogs more than people. Not recommended.

I have been taking my 2 Australian Shepards to be groomed here for over a year now. I use to go to Petco and would get a different groomer every time. I also get great service and my dogs are groomed just the way I ask for them to be. It's located on ridge rd and if I have to go out of town I will have them boarded there as well.

I regularly board my italian greyhound here. Her run gives her the freedom to be inside or out and look at the horses and goat. Love the fact that she is not stuck in a tiny cage. Not a posh place but the care she gets is great. I have never had any problems and she has been going here for over 2 years.

Critter "Country Club" doesn't exactly apply. When I first walked in I noticed how dreary the place was and the sound of barking dogs made it impossible to have a conversation with the staff (staff being 2 people). It smelled of dirty wet dogs. I have been to much nicer kennels that cost a lot less. I can't recommend it,the place needs work and needs to be kept cleaner.

Boarded my puppy here after it came highly recommended by several friends. My dog stayed for a week & loved it. They were happy to provide updates when I called, and when I picked my dog up, she was bathed and clean--completely unexpected! I was very pleased & have already made her next boarding reservation. You cannot beat this quality for the price!
