We hired them last summer to get rid of bats. They told us we had bats, roof rats and squirrels. They offered to repair and get rid of these critters. The critters were initially gone, but they... never produced any actual proof that they existed in the first place. The repair work was shotty at best and looks terrible. This year, we have critters in the attic again and after several attempts to email and call them with no response, I have given up.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
Happy with many months of their service ridding my house of rats and squirrels, but we're not done yet! We're ready for more service but their office line rings and rings with no voice mail, &... there's no mailing address listed. I've resorted to DAILY filling out their "free estimate" form asking for contact. First, let me start by saying that Critter Patrol did get rid of the pests, so I am satisfied, but I am just barely satisfied. When the owner of the company came over to quote me, he up sold the quality of work. He made it sound like the guys were going to come seal up my attic with top grade material and they were going to seal everything around my attic. When the work was being done, the crew (not including the owner) stapled and hammered up some metal plates, and that was about it. It seemed very half-ass compared to what the owner made it seem like I was paying for. Also, clean up was a joke, they just sprayed a chemical down, no moving of the insulation to look for dead critters or droppings. The service was terrible. I was suppose to get multiple follow ups to check traps and do clean up. Both of my follow up appointments they forgot about me and I had to call them and say “Hey, you all never came back to clean up/check traps). Because they forgot me the whole process took over 12 weeks!!! While they did fix my critter problem, I am a little worried at the quality of work and how it will last over the years. They have a warranty, that covers stuff, but it only covers what they did, and they didn't do everything they originally said they would. Would I recommend them, probably not.

second reply to review: First as the owner of the company let me say we want every customer to be 100% satisfied. I would like to personally take a look at the home to see the issues. In the review it states we stapled and hammered and we actually should do neither . We only use drills to fasten our material. If my employees were installing any materials improperly we want to resolve the issue. We have replied to this review by phone and on kudzu . We had several flying squirrels setting up nests in our attic a few winters ago and were afraid we would have lots of baby squirrels up there soon if we did not get it taken care of. Our "regular" pest control company had been unsuccessful after 2 or 3 attempts of setting traps so we got serious and called Critter Patrol in January of 2008. They showed us how a tiny little gap behind your gutter can become an entry way for rodents. Well, not only did they seal the entire roof but did it at a competitive price AND gave us a lifetime warranty. The most important thing is that we have had no "noises" in the night from our attic since then. In my opinion, the true test of any service is how satisfied you are after a few years. They have certainly passed the test of time.

Before using Critter Patrol, I had a bad snake problem. I live near a creek and I would often find garden snakes and occasionally copperheads! I have been using CP for several years now and since I started using them, I've seen no more copperheads. They stand by their guarantee and on the few occasions I've found some garden snakes after treatment, they would come back out very quickly, do a thorough check of the yard and retreat. I've used other pest control services in the past, but none have the customer service that CP has. I highly recommend them.

After moving into my new house, I shortly realized I was not the only one there. Every night scratching, ticking, nicking above my bedroom. So I called around to get some estimates. Everyone deemed the culprit to be rats! In the end Critter patrol had the best value, exclusion plan and the most prompt service. The people at Critter Patrol were very responsive to all our questions and concerns. They were thorough in making sure the pests were completely gone from our house. I'm embarrassed to say that I had a rat problem in my garage and attic. Tony very patiently showed me the problem areas and explained how they would complete the job. A team arrived on time and told me what to expect the first few days. Within the next few days, Critter Patrol will come back out and do an assessment and will then probably come back @ least 3 more times in order to fully complete the job. So far, I'm very pleased with their level of service.

I had been hearing noises in my attic and called Critter Patrol to come out and take a look. Tony came by to look around, and he confirmed that there were rats in the attic. He proceeded to walk me around the house and tell me everything that would be done to solve the problem, and he gave me a quote. The guys who came to actually do the work were not as friendly, and they did not do everything Tony had told me would be done. I had to have them come back several times, and they never did everything to my satisfaction. I asked if Tony could come back out for the final inspection and was told he was busy with another one of his companies and had left others in charge. I wish he would have been there to oversee all of the work or at least check it at the end. The rats are gone, but everything was not sealed up as it should have been (to prevent critters from returning in the future). I have written a letter personally to Tony including my name and number in case he would like to contact me, since I was not able to reach him at the number he left below.

First let me thank you for taking the time to read our reviews and considering doing business with our company. We are a family owned and operated business and have been going strong for 16 years. We service roughly 500 customers per year that find us through Kudzu. I as the owner of the company use Kudzu for any service I need and I always read all reviews before making my decision on who to call. When I read reviews on a company I take into consideration that in business 99% of happy satisfied customers are very busy and move on with their life as soon as your service is finished. I believe that to be very true in the type of business we are in. Picture going out to dinner on Friday night, after an hour in a restaurant we all know you will see at least one patron complain about food and send it back or possibly complain to a manager but how many times have you seen someone ask for a manager to compliment on the food or service. It does happen but the 2-3 unhappy customers out of those 1,000 are going to be the first you hear from. As far as this review goes due to us not knowing who it is because we have not had a complaint to our company like this, I cant really explain the situation other than any and all customers will have no problem contacting me personally if they have any issues because they will have my personal cell number. My office has never told anyone I was too busy with my other company. My other company is very closely related to Critter Patrol. We do attic insulation, crawl space encapsulation,and duct cleaning mainly for the Critter Patrol customers. Anyone who has any experience with this type of problem knows there is something fishy with this review because it says the squirrels are gone but the home is not sealed. I have been doing this most of my life and I can tell you the squirrels are not gone until the house is sealed. Any customer who has a problem can call me directly and it will be resolved immediately. We appreciate all reviews good or not so good because we do want our customers feedback. However, unlike others, we will not harass customers or even ask for reviews and will definately never have friends or relatives leave them. We believe a real review is left at your own free will. I've been a licensed Realtor since 2003. Most of my career has been spent working with bank-owned and investor-owned properties. Usually, these properties have been vacant for extended periods of time and then my company is called in to list and sell to a new owner. Critter Patrol has sucessfully completed numerous jobs at numerous properties - all for a reasonable price. When getting quotes for the banks and investors, they have some strict requirements and Critter Patrol has always gone above and beyond the requirements and most of their quotes include a warranty. Amazing how much noise those little guys can make. More amazing is how quickly we can put a stop to it
Our chimney cap became home to a bat colony. We were unsure of the type of critters. Within 5 hours of our phone call, 2 young men were here, diagnosed the problem and gave us an estimate for exclusion. The next morning 2 different young men were here to seal all the critter entry ways into our home. I was most impressed with all 4 of these men ~ they were professional, polite, addressed all our concerns, gave us the price, and performed the work all within a 24 hour period. It is refreshing to see how polite and professional a younger generation can be! Kudos to Critter Patrol! We hope not to have to do business with them again (and this IS a compliment!)

Summer is the time for bats and we have perfected the process of creating a wildlife free home. We also specialize in cleanup and decontamination of the mess these guys leave. Thank you for the compliment I as the owner of the company am very fortunate to have the best employees a company can have.
I had a very bad rat problem, I called several companies. Critter patrol was the most knowledgeable of the 3 companies I called. Their price was reasonable and they did a great job on my home. I am now critter free!

We can't always promise to be the lowest price but we do promise to be competitive with the legitimate companies and will always go above and beyond. Thank you for your compliment of the company. I along with all of my employees have been doing this for a long time and are well experienced we use the highest quality materials available (well actually they are not available we have everything we use made specifically for our needs) we do not use the cheap stuff from the local hardware store. Our material costs are higher than most due to this yet our price is always in the same ballpark with a superior warranty LIFETIME no renewal fees no scams just a real warranty. Thank you
Becky and the rest of the gang a Critter Patrol took care of a squirrel problem in our attic. From my call to inquire, to the guys coming out to do the install, it was a breeze. Everyone did what they said they would do, and they were on time, courteous and professional. In terms of getting service for what you pay, you'll get it from Critter Patrol. Personal service and attention in addition to fair pricing from these guys. Use them!

We found that we had rats in our house and so we called a few companies out to give us estimates. While they were all pretty expensive, Critter Patrol wasn't quite as high. Critter Patrol was booked for the week but saw how upset I was about the rats and changed their schedule so that they could do the work for me a day later. They then sealed the whole house up to prevent rats from coming in in the future and then laid traps to catch the ones that were there. Within 48 hours, the problem was resolved. The customer service I received from every employee from the owner, to the guys that did the work on the house, to Becky who answers the phone was excellent and I would strongly recommend Critter Patrol to anyone who finds themselves in the same unfortunate situation that I was in.
