In search of a new vet, I occasionally put them to the test, in order to find a vet that cares more about my pet's health than money. So I brought my cat, Linny, (who was diagnosed with a heart murmur) to multiple vet offices and asked for their vet's quick opinion- listen to his heart and tell me if it sounds like a problem I should have checked out, or a minor, harmless murmur. Let me start by saying that every one of these vets had an empty waiting room and plenty of time on their hands to spend a measly 2 minutes with me to offer their professional advice. The vet didn't even HAVE to talk to me- I would have been content with a tech bringing him to the back, letting the vet check him, and then passing along the message to me. After being ignored by multiple vets who told me they wouldn't spend a second with my cat without a full exam for no less than $50, I explained that he's already had a full exam with blood work that came back normal- I just wanted verification he had a problematic heart murmur- nothing more. I finally walked into Crossroads Vet and a doctor promptly came out from the back and listened to his heart and recommended that I look into it further, and even took the time to answer some of my questions. I found my new vet that passed the test- one that is willing to give a few minutes of his time to help a suffering animal without expecting anything in return! That's the kind of vet - *person* I want looking after my 5 pets.

PET OWNERS BEWARE!!! We have taken both our dogs here now. We went with our first in December (2012) and she had her yearly check-up and shots. As soon as we pulled out of the lot she vomitted ALL over the car. She has never had a reaction to anything in the 5 years that we have had her. We took her back to the vet immediately and $150 and an hour later she was fine. We thought it may have just been a fluke thing. But today March 2013 we took our other dog here for her annual check-up and shots and as soon as we pulled out of the lot she vommitted ALL over the car and my husband. We took her home thinking that she would be fine and now a couple hours later her whole head is swollen! We called the vet and they said to bring her back to get an injection which we did and as soon as we got there they wanted to charge us for this and my husband told them NO that they are obviously doing something wrong and they need to give her the injection free of charge. The girl up front had to ask the vet (and without him even coming out to speak with us or look at our dog) she told us to give her benadryl and sent us on our way. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE AGAIN!!!

I found this place by chance and I'm so very happy I did. My oldest cat had a rough patch about a year ago. Honestly, I was a mess worried sick, and the whole staff was friendly and supportive. They were patient when we'd call 3 or 4 times a day to check on her, or sit with her for hours. Dr. Evans even came in to check on her on a Sunday and gave us a call. Later, after she was better, she came in for her routine shots, and everyone came in to see her and love her up. I was happy they remembered her. This clinic is full of great employees with a great practice!

The vets and their whole staff are true animal lovers. Very knowledgeable too. Will take the time to explain to you what the test results mean and go over all your options. They answer all your questions and put your pet at ease. Love them!

We started using Crossroads at the recommendations of several neighbors who stated that they never met a staff that cared so much for their pets and we agree. It's hard to express, but you can tell that the staff loves and respsects animals. The manner that they handle and speak to each animals shows that this is more than a job. Dr. Evans and Dr. White take the time to ensure that your questions are answered and to help you make the correct decision.

A nightmare. They have a woman that works there that does memorial stones on the side. I ordered a stone I never received. I was patient, accommodating and very kind as she stated she had vacation, difficulty finding the stone, lost my number and had problems with the equipment. When I called to follow-up after all of this, she became very rude and hung up in my face. I advised her I would post this review and she said "go ahead". I phoned the location and spoke to the lady that answered the phone, she also stated "ok". It's a shame they don't care about their reputation,so here is the truth in writing on the internet. In summary, I placed my order with her, displayed the utmost in kindness and patience and it resulted in horrible, insensitive treatment and a product never received. I literally waited for months only to have it end this way. I asked her why? A phone call to keep me updated would have been nice. She stated "I do this on the side and don't want to deal with you." People like this should not run a business. I am appalled at Crossroads for employing her. At the time I visited the office, I asked to speak with one of the doctors and was told they were all busy. Have not heard a word since. This is the epitome of unprofessionalism and disgrace. Thankfully, I found another location that can create the stone. I placed the payment in the mail today. I will never deal with Crossroads and their staff again. You have been warned if you choose to deal with these people

I have a 13 year old chihuahua who had a 2 pound tumor on her stomach and the surgery was very risky because during this time we also found out she had a heart problem. The tumor had grown to the point of her not being able to walk. It was a very difficult decision but we moved forward until Sadie could take no more. Dr. Clark was wonderfuly supportive and went above and beyond the extra mile. I was there during the surgery and Dr. Clark let me spend all the time I needed with my baby until the moment of surgery. I handed her to Dr. Clark and she did her magic. Sadie did better than expected during surgery and she is so happy now - I have my baby back. Thank you, Dr. Clark for your support and helping us make that decision. Sadie recovered so well.

I have two cats that just went to this vet for the first time today. First, one of my boys HATES the vet, I am not exaggerating when I say he becomes the cat from hell. (He's not that way at home and is the sweetest cat ever!) Anyway, I had forewarned the staff of his fear aggression and we arrived and within 5 minutes were in an exam room PLUS within 10 min the doctor was there!!!! I have been to many other vets offices where you sit waiting on the doctor for 30-45min and that is intolerable let alone having a young child to add to the equation. The staff was great with dealing with my two boys to try to minimize the stress and EVEN brought some toys in for my toddler!!!! I would highly reccomend this vet as they helped me turn what could have been a HORRIFIC experience into the best possible. FYI: this vet does not TRY TO SPEND YOUR MONEY BY ORDERING UP EVERY TEST, VACCINATION, PROBE, WORK-UP, PANEL, ETC UNDER THE MOON. She was down-to-earth and really really GREAT!
