Macy is an honest and upfront guy that puts his customers first. He kept an open line of communication and throughout the entire repair process and has my 2001 Civic running like new. He is very thorough and and is a true professional. I will not hesitant to recommend him to anyone I know

My overall experience at Crown was the Best! They make you feel so at ease. The knowlege they have on vehicles are Phenomenal!Their prices can't be beat, due to the economy today. They Baby your car! If your car is down and out, Call "Crown" with out a doubt!

i have never had any issues at Crown Transmission. I take my car and he checks it first before he does anything. I have always been pleased with his service. I have sent him plenty of clients and they bragg about the experience.HAPPY CLIENT

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MAN! We bought a 2002 Honda Odyssey from him in January. He said he rebulit the transmission with new parts and that if we had any problems to bring it back to him and he would fix it. Well here we are 10 months later and our transmission is going out!!! We took him the van and he said that the repair to the transmission would be $1,600 because it was something we caused to happen by shifting gears when van was off or some made up nonsense along those lines. My husband called our regular HONEST mechanic who then called a transmission EXPERT who said that it made no sense and something like that never usually happens. I am a mom to 3 children and I only drive the van locally around town so now I am out a van because Macy would not stand behind his work. He said he told us to bring it to him if we had problems and he would work with us not fix it, ok whatever, $1,600 is in no way working with us! I just wish their was more HONEST/CARING people in this world! I will be contacting the BBB! Valerie Wilkins

I was feeling serious insecurity over transmision noise (torque converter?/trans oil pump? on my 2001 Jeep Cherokee, and got nowhere from taking it to my neighborhood NAPA shop for answers.After a lot of researching what next locally, I learned that Mr. Macy at Crown Transmission in Marietta was a long-standing Independent Owner/Technician with a great reputation for honest transmission repairs/rebuilding. Macy took the time to determine the nature of what was needed right away, saving me a ton on what otherwise would have been a new "franchise-type" top dollar replacement unit "remove and replace" situation. My actual experience was this is a guy who knows what he's talking about, and has the specialized technical resources to deal with any automatic transmission problem correctly and reasonably. When many shops would have summarily recommended the hard sell, Macy took the time and got me back on the road safely, and at a reasonable cost! Thanks so much Mr. Macy:) I definitely will be back if I need any further transmission help!

When your transmission goes out, the first thing you think is who can do it the cheapest! Would you say that if the doctor told you that you had a brain tumor? I checked around and most of the cheapest guys end up costing you much more than the advertised price after they add in all the extras. Crown was not the cheapest, or the highest but they most diffidently are the highest quality. When they quote a price it includes all the extra's. They allowed me to go in the shop and see the Name Brand Factory parts for my vehicle. They could have used an after market part but instead they used the highest quality parts and always ask before they do any additional work. They guarantee all their work and they are much cheaper than Amoco and complete the work on time. If I have transmission problem with any of my vehicle I would go to crown first!

Mr. Macy is a very credible mechanic in the area. He does really good work and can get your vehicle back to you really fast. His prices are very affordable and he knows transmissions. He's also able to talk to you about all your car needs but, unfortunatly he only does great transmission work.

We were very pleased with the service and hospitality we received at Crown Transmissions... And we've been very pleased with the cars performance and reliability since the repairs were made about six months ago. I would definitely take my Honda back for any future needs.

August 5, 2011 --I was having transmission problems with my 1996 Ford Explorer. I took my vehicle to Crown Transmissions which I found on the internet for an estimate. Macy, the owner, greeted me and asked me what the symptoms were. He had one of his technicians check out my vehicle and checked for engine codes as well. He noticed the TPS sensor was not fully seated. He reseated the connector and cleared the engine codes. He said that was probably the cause for my transmission problems. He said to let him know if the problem persisted. That fixed my problem and he did not charge me for the diagnostics. I will recommend anyone I know to use him. He saved me much time and money.
