My fiance and I went to the hotel's restaurant, The Chattahoochee Grille, for brunch on Easter. Simply put, it was awful. 1. The buffet offers a variety of selections, however the quality leaves much to be desired. Pretty much everything was dry and overcooked. 2. The service was horrible. We were ignored for 10 minutes before we had to flag someone down just to get us something to drink. Our waitress spent most of her time at the hostess desk...what she was doing there, we have no idea. We had to ask twice for the bill. The restaurant wasn't even busy! 3. TOTALLY OVERPRICED. We have been to brunch at Ray's on the River (which is right down the street) many times. It is well worth the $25/person they charge as the service, selection, and quality of food is impeccable. When we finally got the bill at the Chattahoochee Grille for $87 for TWO PEOPLE, we were floored. The brunch is $35/person and they AUTOMATICALLY charge a 17% service fee. Our waitress told us that this 17% represents the gratuity that they automatically charge. Interestingly, the bill states that gratuity is not included and even leaves a blank "tip" line. This is the same price for the grand buffet at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, however, these two are polar opposites in every sense of the word. In sum, this is the worst restaurant we have been to in a very long time. Don't waste your time or money.
