I have been taking my babies to Cumberland since they opened. My sister was one of Dr. Dehaven's first patients. I use Dr. Tison for my 3 dogs & would go nowhere else. I used to live 15 min away & recently moved an hour away. I had an emergency w/one of my dogs & took her to a vet that was literally 1.5 miles from my house, only b/c it was an emergency. Boy, what a huge difference. I gladly drive an hour (or more) to see Dr. Tison. He is so kind and caring. He returns my calls promptly every time. When my 15 year old dog passed away I even received a personally written sympathy card from Dr.Tison. My dogs don't even realize they are being examined b/c he sits on the floor & makes it seem like he's playing w/them while he's actually doing the exam, instead of putting them up on a metal table which scares them. I highly recommend Cumberland to anyone who loves their dog, the doctors & staff are the absolute BEST!!

I have been going to Dr. Tison for my two babies for a while and I do love Dr. Tison however Raymond (Ray, Ray) is the reason I continue to go Cumberland Animal Clinic, you can tell he is difinatly in the right job. He is such a caring, loving and kind person who is so great with my babies. I understand Mgt. is making changes and I understand business but you also need to take care of your customers I don't know if I can recommend CAC if Raymond is not on staff he is so loved by his clients.

We've been happy and loyal clients for over 5 years now. Dr. Tison and Raymond, who've been working together for 7, are the amazing dynamic duo that we trust to care for our furry loved ones. All of the vets are great, but we love how compassionate and caring Raymond is. We really feel that he loves our pets as much as we do! We're extremely disappointed to learn that Raymond's job is in jeopardy. Even after several moves and now a 25 minute drive to the clinic we haven't switched. But now we might have to consider changing. Keep your most valuable employee and we'll add the fourth star back.

I have been taking my pet "Lucky" to this clinic for years and I got so attached to Raymand, He is so good with him. Now they tell me he won't be there but part time. Well guess I will be looking for another clinic I can take Lucky to. It takes forever for him to get use to someone and Raymond was that special someone!!! People get him back FullTIme!!! or I will find another clinic to go to!!!

I have four dogs and I've been a regular at Cumberland Animal Clinic for the last five years. Dr. Tison and Dr. DeHaven are excellent vets and their support staff is professional. I especially appreciate Raymond. He's always gone out of his way to pay special attention to my dogs even when the clinic was busy. Raymond is also the only one I've found who can trim my dog Jack's nails. (Jack was very mistreated the first year of his life before I got him and he is very skittish). Raymond is wonderful with him. I highly recommend Cumberland and highly recommend Raymond.

requested to get updated shots and nail trim. Horrified at cost. No multi pet disc. and charged for exam that was not requested. All the while there was a huge poster advertising a community pet fair with discouted shots etc. Just did not see until after the fact. Was unable to purchase the med requested to use after paying for this appt. I am disabled and live on a small disablity check. Just frustrated. Liked all of the personel. Just not the costs.

I have been taking my pets to Cumberland for 2 years now . After having a horrible experience with Animal care center, I came here, and I found what I'd been missing. Awesome vets and technicians that truly love what they do. Here they know your name, and love your pets as if they were their own. If I ever moved out of the Smyrna area, I'd still make the drive. It's worth it to me to have such a caring and friendly staff that make us feel at ease. I know when I come here my pets are getting the best care possible. Dr. Dehaven is wonderful, as is Dr. Tison. It's no wonder they made the 5 star vet list in Atlanta magazine. They are simply the best.

I just got home with my little dog Bugsy, who has been very sick for a week. After talking with my friend Raymond who is a Vet Tech with Cumberland Animal Clinic yesterday,(yes...on the Fourth of July)!! he was very helpful and recommended I bring Bugsy in for a visit first thing this morning. I took Bugsy in last Tuesday and Wednesday to see his regular Vet in Douglasville. He was misdiagnosed or rather not diagnosed at all!Having been a Pediatric Nurse for 16 years I had an idea of what Bugsy's problem was(Hey but canines are not kids)! Dr. DeHaven possesses an excellent bedside manner, is caring and informative. I am glad to say this has been a wonderful and appreciated experience for both Bugsy and me. I would like to thank all of the staff at Cumberland Animal Clinic (especially you Ray Ray)!! for your excellent care. As the saying goes....A dog is man's best friend!

I had been taking both my dogs here for years, and their last visit was in March. Two months after that visit with no indication, I ended up at Georgia Veterinary Specialist late one night with my dog. It turns out she had cancer that had caused blood vessels to burst and bleed into her stomach. I had to unexpectedly put her to sleep. Now, less than two months after that, I took my other dog to a different vet due to a lump. The vets at Cumberland Animal Clinic had treated it topically and never mentioned any need to explore it further. The new vet recommended surgical removal and biopsy. Good thing. Turns out it is a Grade 1 mast cell tumor, and he has been referred to an oncologist for follow up. Cancer in two dogs and neither instance was pursued here. We trust our vets to look for and pursue treatment for issues in our animals because we do not have that education and background. My vet failed two of my dogs and me. My dog now has a new vet.

This is an fantastic veterinary clinic! Friendly, caring doctors and staff and very reasonably priced. Our dog just had a procedure done there and he received excellent care and follow up. CAC will be our pets' new clinic.

Dr. Tison and his staff are flat-out the best vets we've ever used, and also the least expensive!!! We moved to Atlanta from Knoxville, where we were lucky to have a friend who was a vet student. We like Dr. Tison so much, we are pleading with our friend to apply for a job with him! Excellent clinic, always surprises us with bills that are 30% lower than we're used to seeing from Knoxville.
